Thank you! No manual at new property so this was extremely helpful!

Need to see an example of it connected to a Water Tank. Page 10 of the manual says it is suitable to use with a rainwater tank. I have not been able to get this to work where the pump effectively allows water to flow through it even when turned off. I wanted to water my garden once a day taking water from the water tank however as soon as I open the outlet valve from the water tank water trickles through to the irrigation system which if left in that state would slowing drain the tank. I expected the pump to only flow water when operated either manually or via the timer and when the pump stops it should shup off the inlet valve. Without doing this it is NOT suitable to be connected to a rainwater tank as advertised. Now I need to return the pump having wasted so much time plumbing it in and am severely out of pocket. Useless dysfunctional produce not fit for purpose.

Does this have a pressure switch or do you always need to have to turn it on and off manually?

do you think the pump could handle pumping out sewerage pits over flow? did you have to prime it first?

Forgot to note that indicators P and L are on in auto mode when pump doesn't stop while expected.

strong pump, provides good pressure, but automatic mode doesn't work for me.
Pump has good water intake. All air is pushed out of pipe and when I close the tap pump might run indefinitely. I have to turn it off manually.
    By the way,
    1. double checked the pipe and fittings, even that it's short run, there is no leakage.
Yesterday I used pump last time and today when I opened the tap, some water came under pressure, meaning pipe, fittings and non-return valve are good and holding pressure.
    2. previous pump worked on same installation and was working in auto mode OK,
so it must be problem with the pump itself?
    Any thoughts? Thanks!
