another interesting place to visit in Manila is Paco Park n Cemetery now turned into a recreational garden n popular wedding venue..The park was built by the Dominican friars in 1807 during the Spanish colonial period. Originally designed to be the final resting place of the Spanish colonial elite. The inner walls of the circular garden still houses the marble crypt that bears their famiy names..Inside the park one can find the Chapel of St. Pancrcius a popular wedding venue... Historically , Paco Park was initially where the remains ot the national hero Rizal was first buried n hidden from the Spanish authorities before it was transferred to the Rizal monument in Luneta.

Hello, I don't want this to come off the wrong way but I'm going to Manila and I don't want to spend much time there. I would like to go somewhere a little more low-key a little more laid back that doesn't see a lot of expats are Taurus. I want to get a feel for the real Philippines but of course my time is limited so I cannot travel too far. Does anyone have a recommendation somewhere I can go that maybe is a little bit over looked. Less foreigner the better lol

Is it too much to expect you to do ample research before posting "travel guides" like this?
06:24 Poblacion is not in Manila. It's in Makati.
07:21 Legazpi is not in Manila either. That's also in Makati.
07:56 "Quezon City Memorial Circle" is not in Manila. Are you smart enough to know where it is? Let me help you: Read the name again.
No thanks for keeping foreigners ignorant of what and where Manila actually is.

      @@beforeyougotravel Facts not feelings.
You should have used "Metro Manila" if you include the other cities.

Although there is some truth to that, it is good to see those areas for us tourists to see how many Filipinos live to get the real experience and to appreciate life more. Also, if we go there we will put more money into that community
