Very well done to better understand Levinas as I am working on a chapter on him for my PhD! Thank you.

Thank you, professor! I'm writing a paper on the overlap of Levinas' thought and the concept of interpersonal knowledge and this has been a very helpful explanation for me!

Nice interpretation... I am just reminded of my ethics lessons a decade before... You are so clear.

    Thanks for the lovely talk.
Did Levinas’ OTHER also imply that man made God in his image?

Ethics is given to the stranger, help becomes regulating the dynamics between the self alongside other but you don't get paid for it and they don't like it

    Very nice
Do you have a paper on this? Anywhere I could understand? It’s a bit heavy. But I want to understand Levinas and the Other

Levinas interpretation of the "Other" seems like an antithesis to Sartre's interpretation of the other in the latter's play No Exit.

A question: does the self reduce the Other to what the self perceives? Thus reducing it to its own level. Maybe this is how God came about?
