People speed through the game especially at the daycare segment so lots of audio goes unheard like sun asking if the player has fun. I'm sure the whole time out dialogue is just when you don't pick the badge up immediately but get to the desk and go into his reach range. Have not seen the full video nor have I played the game Don't take my words for it, it's just a small idea unless it is unused like the others say. Maybe if it is unused it was for sun being in the daycare when the lights go back on and kicks you out or if he's just snagged you from the security desk

The creepy clean up does not have anything to do with the flashlight, it's because you are annoying him with the amount of mess you make, this also happens without the flashlight
its possible that the game want you to take the flash light AFTER you turn the lights off and that the game want you to collect the flash light while the lights are off to make moon's voice be enabled if possible if u dont take the flash light while the lights are out it might be sun's voice still but its moon

if you go inside of the maze with the generators in it before you turn off the lights he gets so worried about losing you

Moon makes it into the play structures once you have ~3 generators turned back on. He'll actively hunt you down.

It's a great tutorial in so many ways, showing you literally what you'll need to do with Moon. Once you get to phase 2 of Moon though, all bets off!
