Depends on experience and working conditions. I would say for the average at home mechanic, in their driveway, a solid day. For a shop, or someone who has installed several before, few hours at most.
I have one in the tank of my 2001 3500 and the one up front and I cannot tell where it is sucking air from I’m not familiar with a diesel truck anyhow it leaks fuel at the fast fuel filters on the back of the truck. I can hear my fast fuel pump in the front of the bay of the truck running but the pump and the tank interfere with the one upfront I’ve never seen them both on the truck at the same time. Sorry if this doesn’t make sense I’m driving and using voice to text.
What is the best aftermarket fuel pump and lift pump for a 2001 Ram 2500 with the 5.9 Cummins? I’ve heard good things about the FASS, but I want to know what the best system is and also which one will be the easiest to maintain.
I just watch a video and the guy was talking about d07 and d08 but saying the do7 was for the inblock and the d08 was for the intank application I’m so confused I wanna purchase one but which one should I get mine is a 2000 2500 Cummins with the intank lift pump which one do I need d07 or d08?
Just curious on average install time. Also is there a good video on wiring andnhose routing, etc. Thanks.

I got a fass fuel system installed on my Ram 2500 the pump has to work constantly or has to stop when you prime the system

If the truck has been retrofitted with an in-tank System, you need to purchase a TSD07100G Kit.
