  • In this video I showcase all the projects I worked on and all the failed business ideas I have had for the past year. Some of these are not dead but in a coma, some are just flat out dead.

Your enclosure seems solid, i've tried the Creality "Fireproof" enclosure and returned it, the material was actually an aluminized rubber type fabric, rated probably for 150F with degradation in the 140 range . So in reality a fire hazard.
Now i did my own with the cheapest lightweight ceramic fibre board i can find, easily rated for 2000F, aluminized in one side.

Hahaha reminds me of about 15 years ago I was inventing equipment for ponds and I had a pile of fails the size of a pickup truck. So much fun.
For me there comes a time when a design works. No more gut feeling something wasn't right. And normally it's a simpler design. One trick I use is is to ask "how could that be simpier. Not cheaper, weaker, just simpiler.

I go through that process constantly, many of my designs I try to make the core functionality just be simpler and intuitive. I been working for a year for a company and part of my job is problem solving and implementation. Everyone wants to make things more complicated and can't understand why adoption inside the company is difficult, more barriers = less adoption even if the end result is awesome, I find I have to bread crumb feed complex ideas using simple designs and concepts in layers. Thank you for the comments on my videos, I read them on the phone and dont have time to get to computer to relax and reply. Also TH-cam can be stressful trying to watch my channel grow, so I dont even look at my channel for days or weeks at a time then I look and yay commens and subs!

Thank you for sharing. It was interesting and humble to hear. Also cool to see equipment, gadgets and stock anyways.

Thank you for the kind words, I want to give a real world image of what the "grind" is like. I got pretty far in my endeavor. Lately I feel re-motivated. Getting comments that people are interested makes me motivated to produce another video of some sort. Keep it simple no script and just go go go.

Why not build something like a custom Voron or RatRig with all the material you have. People seems to be into that and will help with the subscriptions? Honest no shill opinions are very much appreciated.

I have contemplated doing something like this, but I consider myself someone who makes things with 3d printers or wants to talk business about making things etc. But maybe it will be the juice I need to get to the special 1K number. Thank you for the suggestion.

@@KenRomero I can see how someone would think that in hindsight with the thumbnail and all. 90% of the video was made over a month ago.

you will make more money doing video content on 3d printing hobby than selling 3d printing stuff :P

Thank you for the comment. It was actually this comment that has motivated me to make content rather than try to sell stuff.
