Back when I did run boat's they didn't have this kind of torque I was pretty shocked how much power it had you're right the battery one side contacted that still had to trim a little but not to much sorry for late reply just got back me and the boat survived the buck's show lol time to catch up now thank you for watching as always Durk take care mate 👊

Hey, nice video! I just got the same boat and I noticed that the motor isn’t running perfectly aligned to the axes. I does eventually align once it reaches high RPMs, I’m a noob and I was wondering if that’s intentional or if I should try to align it manually. If you got the chance a video with a closer inspection on the mechanical parts would be much educational and appreciated :)

It is a cool looking boat Mark. I have not run an RC boat yet, I need to get out with my little one now that it is warming up to try it. This one looks to run very well and is plenty fast!! I love the estimate of it is goignt o make it back home or not, I hope it does but if it doesn't I am sure there will be a great story behind it! Have fun!!

That is one of my next sandstone projects it's a gazebo people like to take wedding pictures there and get engaged in it it needs rebuilding I'll be building a new sandstone wall around the bottom of it at some stage me and the boat survived the buck's show I think you guys call it a bachelor party a shin dig before your mate gets married the boat was a big hit cheers for watching brother I'm away again more cabin work it's Easter here have a good one take care mate 👊

Great and well equiped boat. I think they put the weight to one side to counteract the torque of the motor.🤔
