    I'm on day 2 of luvox 50mg. My side effects include blurry vision and nausea. Im not sure if I'm experiencing a placebo effect but my OCD tendencies seem to have lessened. I did feel hungover when I woke up this morning. I also have issues with binge eating and did notice a loss of appetite which helps me. I just hope the sickly side effects go away. I can see this med actually working compared to others.

    Has anyone here had a bad experience with fluvoxamine? I’ve been taking fluvoxamine for almost 6 months and I’m not sure if it’s just mental but I almost feel like I’ve lost feelings, like I don’t feel happy and I don’t feel sad I almost feel like there’s a wall keeping me from having any kind of feelings but I can’t knock it down. Fluvoxamine had helped me with OCD but with a cost I feel. I have stopped taking it for 7 days now and I started getting my feelings back but I also started getting OCD. I’m having trouble figuring out if it was the pills or if it was mental. Have y’all felt any negative sides as well?

    Nice! I didnt know Off-label ment Fda doesnt approve of it. I take. clonazepam for panic disorder with agoraphobia but Its always been stated as off label to me by my pharmacist.

    • @PharmacyCentral
      @PharmacyCentral  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yup! Alot of these medications have broad uses and can overlap on therapy but the FDA has not approved it but doctors have seen in practice it works so it becomes an "off label" use.

      Off-label uses for drugs have shown to be effective for COVID-19, such as Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine, and Fluvoxamine. Dr Drew used Flovox for his COVID-19 and had success. There's a small n1 157 study on it.

    Can Luvox be taken in conjunction with the newer drug Viibryd? If so, are there any concerns or interactions that should be considered? - Much Thanks!

    • @PharmacyCentral
      @PharmacyCentral  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question and good on you for doing your research and asking questions about the medications you take!
      So Luvox and Viibryd can cause serotonin syndrome. This is the case when you take multiple anti-depressants together. Symptoms include high body temperature, agitation, increased reflexes, tremor, sweating, dilated pupils, and diarrhea. In worse cases seizures. But as long as your doctor is monitoring your doses and starting you off low then you should be fine but just listen to your body and let your doctor know if anything feels out of place.
