For some reason, XeSS has disappeared from the game, and frame generation doesn't work. While the FPS increases, the overall smoothness decreases. FSR upscaling also doesn't seem to improve the FPS all that much. Seems like a game issue because others are also experiencing similar problems.
I have the b580 as well. Overall pretty decent. I've noticed some games there are little frame spikes here and there. I look forwrad to the future driver updates. I have high hopes for this card :)
@@piplup8243 I'm using it on a 3.0 motherboard right now with zero issues. On a b520 board that only cost $52 bucks. Because it can do Rebar. I tink we lose maybe 1-3 fps. No big deal :)
Funnily enough you have to restart the game if you enable FSR. Once you enable Frame Gen and you turn it off and you didnt restart the game in between it completely messes up your results.
Thank you very much! A 250$ GPU doing 1440P 60 FPS on this game is impressive! I'm genuinely considering buying the B770 when it comes out, assuming similar prive to performance!
It's crazy how low settings uses 8 gb of VRAM, so yeah 8 gb of VRAM GPUs are done for Unreal engine 5, I'm gonna switch my rtx 3060 ti for the new battle GPUs Intel drops.
Damn nice performance.. Still this GPU needs more driver level optimization. The 0.1% lows might seem irrelevant for some but I feel they are getting crushed every 30s which I couldn't find happening with rtx 4060 or 6700 xt
Just because it's using that much RAM, it doesn't mean it needs it. There's a difference in how RAM is allocated to games depending on the amount available, in a 16gb system the consumption will be less, but the performance may be equal to performance in a 32gb system
@@shaquilleoseal1390old comment but fyi, this game had constant crashes and HUGE fps drops because its would literally surpass the 16gb limit; Now in the new season they kinda fix it since it uses around 1gb less of ram overall.
Great benchmark, I was thinking 🤔 f upgrading my 1080 but I am guessing driver support is holding this card back because I get 120-140 fps on low at 1440p
a question- is there a technology for intel arc like RSR( Radeon Super Resolution) which takes the base high resolution of the 3d app and downscales it to your monitors resolution?
I selected the low preset which uses that setting. They call it high but it’s the second lowest option available. With medium and high you get lumen which is way more intensive.
this games optimization is horrid, but also when running low settings you need to drop the global illumination setting as well that being set to high is costing you so much fps and is why the gpu is still being maxed out at 1080p when everything else is on low
Yeah I'm having to put fsr on performance/ ultra performance to get 165+ fps, which shouldn't have to do considering the competitive nature of the game.
@@Tera-plex i have a 5700x3d and a 7700xt i run the game at 1440p with quality fsr and medium settings and pull about 165. they'll fix the optimization but it also comes down to people not understanding settings and what they actually do.

Have you tried enabling it through config?
is it possible if you could test this card on pcie 3.0 motherboard, wanted to see if i could upgrade to it without any major issues

Doing far better than my 2060s. Thinking of buying the arc for the better linux support.
Best channel for testing arc GPUs ❤
Thanks for making this video ❤️

Pretty decent all things considered. I just wish the game was a little more optimized so we didnt have to rely on upscalers
i dont understand how this game gives so low fps on 1080p even though it has valorant like graphics.
Because it uses unreal engine 5
Also uses lumen on high which is super taxing.
terrible optimization as well
what scares me most is the 16-17gb RAM consumption. does it really need that much when the majority of players still have 16 gigs in total like wtf

I would be curious to see a test on EA SPORTS WRC, however for 1440p, do you recommend this card?
Bro Arc A750 for 160$ worth it for 1080p gaming and editing? B580 in our country is like 320$
For that price it’s pretty good
nais.is this really the b580 ?because linus tech tips did vid on it and it showed 60 fps on 1080p
I have a ryzen 5600 and a b580 and i m only getting 80/90fps on low settings....i hope they are gonna fix the iusse.
mann please test the intel arc b580's ray tracing performance
5600x and 6750xt barely get 140fps lower settings native.
Could you test The Witcher 3 RT enable?
Defo a great 1440p card. Works well on 1080 p too, but shines with 1440p.

@@gamersworld4176No Rsr works at driver level and Intel is focusing in a per game ai implementation for upscalling with xess.

Can you test Star Wars Outlaws? Can't seem to find any good thorough test for that game 😢

dang, weird card, on 2060/12gb i getting 20-30fps more on low settings with worser processor
same here, looks like a 5600 is not enough for this game
