The squig hoppers have some amazing pointy helms that you could use for conversions. I almost exclusively used them for my Turnip28 army, because I didn't have a 3D printer to use.
I made mine using fireforge steppe warriors and warlord pike and shotte infantry. Honestly I prefer to sculp the helmets, don't get me wrong saintdecent work is great but everybody is using them that they become the space marines of turnip. The zombies ones are excellent as well the 2 headed guy btw.
I'll have a look into the Fireforge range. It's fun to use some other kits than GW ones from time to time. I think the 3D designs are great, and will definitely try out some more combinations. But I get what you are saying. I'll do some sculpting or digital kit-bashing when I make my special characters :)
That looked like so much fun, looking forward to see what you do with more grots and skaven but I also really like how the zombie ones turned out. I think I will also use the zombies for my future turnip army.
I made my first turnip army by following Max's instrux in the Maglette. Wilhelm, you oughtta sell some Tunrip28 stuff on your etsy! I would buy the hell out of it... Great video!
Man... always love seeing your stuff! Planning on messing with some turnip stuff this year too! No idea if I'll ever play a game but it just looks so funny on the hobby side
Cheers! It is a really fun setting, so you should definitely check it out :D The instagram link to the creator of the setting is in the video description.
It's been a while since I hade these, but I will get back to them at some point. I might do some more with sisters of battle, but I think I want to have them helmeted.
I don't know if you'll see this, considering how old this video is. But, what did you use for the vegetable portion of the Sneaky Snuffer beast, as well as to fill up their backpacks? I really like the idea of intelligent vegetables / roots as attack animals!
I used leca balls for the main shape of the beast. You can find it in a plant store, although you can probably find some outside. They are used to improve water draining and such for plants. For the smaller lumps i used small balls of greenstuff. I always roll my grwwnstuff into little balls and bean shapes if I mix too much.
Glad you like them! As I use a lot of the goblin heads for other conversions, they will be a perfect way to get rid of all the headless miniatures I have lying around.
Super turnips are gaurds of important officials. The Queen's Guard, British Guards, and Queen's Life Guard are the names given to contingents of infantry and cavalry soldiers charged with guarding the official royal residences in the United Kingdom.
Stippling with liquid Green Stuff to cover 3d print lines is a great tip!
TH-cam needs more Turnip28 content! ♥️🥕
It is a very fun setting, and a steadily growing community. I'm sure there will be more content in the future :D
TurnipTube when?
Honestly yeah I've grown rather interested in this grotesque wargame 😅
You've got a real skill when it comes to spotting the possibilities in your projects. The end results are great.
Thank you very much! I'm happy with the outcome.
These are by far some of my favourite turnip28 kitbashes! Awesome stuff.
Thank you!
It is a very fun and imaginative world to explore :D
Fantastic, I like when people embrace the rooty weirdness of this setting.

Yes, they have great designs!
It's been too long since I made some turnips!

Yes, I think zombies were the best kit to use :)

I will think about that :)
Never thought about bashing them with goblins, I wonder how they fit with Mantic
The Sisters of Battle mashup is off the chart 🙂
Cheers!
I really need to get around to paint these :)
have you tried bashing it with skaven bits? I would love to check it out since I have alot of skaven bits myself :D
Skaven bits are pretty similar in style and size as the goblins i used, so I think that would work out perfectly :D
Man... always love seeing your stuff! Planning on messing with some turnip stuff this year too! No idea if I'll ever play a game but it just looks so funny on the hobby side
Thanks!
I'm not sure if I will ever create anything playable. I just like creating weird characters for the setting :)
moria goblins and the 2 headed dude are my favorites! awesome
Cheers!
I'm planning to make more of those :)
I have no idea what Turnip28 is, but I love watching you make miniatures for it!
Cheers!
It is a really fun setting, so you should definitely check it out :D

Wonderful work! I like seeing turnip28!
Thanks a lot!
Liquid Green stuff? How exactly do you make or obtain that?
You can get it an Hobby shops or online.
Absolutely beautiful
The "liquid greenstuff" looks like Tamiya putty. Where did you get it and do you think Tamiya putty would work as well?
I think it is basically the same product! Liquid Greenstuff is by GW and is sold as part of the Citadel Paints range.
Can you try another Sororatas conversion but with the other resin torso that the one you used, and with the sororatas head?
It's been a while since I hade these, but I will get back to them at some point.
I might do some more with sisters of battle, but I think I want to have them helmeted.
Do you thin down the liquid green stuff when you use it?
I have a few pots which are quite dry, and I have to use water when I use them, but I prefer to use the GS straight from the pot.
great video! I think with a bit of conversion, you could use the nurgle blood bowl team's bigger models as great brutes!

@@wilhelminiatures6905 Ooooooh! LECA balls. The little like clay puffball things. Gotcha!
The one made from the snuffler could work well as a Houndmaster model, from the Uprising of the Louse cult.
What an enjoyable kitbash video to watch. One day I will tip out my bitz bix and go turniping.
Turniping is a lot of fun! Go for it :D
Love watching you work. Great stuff, as always!
Much appreciated!
they look great!
Glad you like them :)
Looks great! Mind if I ask where you got the Perry Miniatures kits from? It’s been a real struggle trying to find them in Norway
I bought them on a trip to London some years ago.
I haven't found any here either, so my best bet is to order them online.
sweet video man, thanks! Love the little goblin ones
Glad you like them!
As I use a lot of the goblin heads for other conversions, they will be a perfect way to get rid of all the headless miniatures I have lying around.
I have recently bought the start collecting seraphon, I would like to convert some saurian or cold one with the turnip28 aesthetic.
That sounds very cool! I would love to see some dinosaur people walking through the mud and mist.
Great video! Very inspiring :D
Can't seem to track down the bodies you were using. Any tips?
They are free to download to print at home from the Turnip28 Patreon: www.patreon.com/Turnip28/posts
@@wilhelminiatures6905 Found them, thanks much!
What root have you devoted your poor sods to?
I'm still sketching out the miniatures, trying to figure out the final look. I'm not yet sure which direction to take!
What do you use for glue
Thick superglue is my go to glue. Here I use one from "Biltema".
More Turnip! Yes!!
Cheers!
There's more to come!!

It's a cool work. Thanks for sharing your video 🙂
