In my top 5 all time favorites! This one for winter and 1828 for summer. Two masterpieces.
This is definitely a cold weather fragrance. Also an entertaining olfactory tour de force, but one I wear for my own entertainment. Not super accessible for random passersby used to simple less challenging scents. But sometimes that's just what you're looking for.

Phonetic pronunciation is.... ISTWAR DE PARFAM . The H is silent in French and so is the S . Absolutely love this. Superb in winter but I’m in UK and winter here is 5 degrees and below. It doesn’t work in warm weather so don’t think you will ever get the best from it unfortunately

I loooove this frag. I have a 5ml decant and need to get a bottle now. Last time I wore Nassomatto Baraonda it gave me a similar type of vibe in the way that its so bad ass and bold.

Hey Joy Amin , the problem is that you review a perfume which is not made at all for your climate circumstances. You must have a real western europe winter with 0 to 10 degrees Celsius max. I have this perfume and it s one of the perfume s i get most compliments with. It has a very good Projektion beast mode and a longivity from over 8 hours. One of the best winter fragrances i have in my collection from over 200 bottles . So i think its better you review fragrances which fit in your climate. Only the you can develop an adequate opinion.
I know for example that you love acqua di gio essenza. In your climate its probably very good. My nose can not handle this. I only get a rotten eggs and calone seaweed fish smell from this. I bought it blind After one of your reviews but i nearly had to vomit when i smelled it. So i think it depends on personal taste ( like food) and the part of the world you live in , to love or not love a specific fragrances. Histoires de parfum 1740 os for me one of the best winter perfumes for europe and an absolute compliment getter

The notes on it sound right up my alley. But it seems like I always end up gravitating towards daring or polarizing scents though
So if you hate children, this is a good way to get them out of your way :D
