What makes ETM gamers really funny is 99% of the time they will wait on the edge of the map. But once the STM is like 95% complete or raider almost dead, they pop right in like "Hey, I helped too!" as if we didn't see their icons spend the last 5 minutes on the opposite end of the map being completely still.
It drives me insane. Literally have pinpointed where the ETM is and just sit there waiting for it pop up instead of helping keep the raider off the time machine that he’s taking his sweet time blowing up because of the cowardice. It’s almost as if they’re working with the Raider.
I would only ETM, if I don’t have a slight fighting chance tbh
No supplies
No DChange
No drinks
No stun skills
STM is below 50% but at red already
Etc etc
It takes a LOT of factors to consider starting the ETM gaming route, not even considering the people aspects

he'd still get mad at for doing so tbh. bc that is how i play too and the guy + his stans come at me for it everytime i make a comment bout how not all etm gamers are alike. its sad tbh.
I ran into an ETM gamer not that long ago. My team and I had made really good progress and brought Broly down to one bar of health, and I managed to work on the STM and stall Broly long enough to get it to about 98% before I died. I thought my remaining teammate, who had change power, could clutch it out and either stall Broly to win by STM or by just killing him… until I saw that he was waiting on the other side of the map next to an ETM beacon spawn. Because of them, Broly destroyed the STM and the ETM, losing us the round. Had that guy helped me instead of playing like a little bitch, we would have won.
Imagine if goku black had the ability just not letting the etm survivors escape.

@@will-1573better yet, if you etm game from goku black when his health is above 50% the cutscene of you leaving is interrupted by him coming through the time rift and slashing everyone on the etm w/ his Scythe, giving etm gamers a defeat screen
Imagine ETM and then goku black pops up to stop you and your downed but then you can escape again in another ETM

They gotta do something about these type of people. I think they actually believe if they escape in the time machine that it’s not a win for the raider. There just needs to be a lose for them as well instead of escape.
Get rid of ETM to force all players to play the damn fucking game instead of just hiding and doing nothing.

Imagine having a skill where you slow down the Escape Time Machine.
I’m starting to question why they made this a game mechanic in the first place
In case the raider is stomping them they need a way to escape.
The problem is that cowards are kneecaping their team for it.
Is the players not the mechanic.
This mechanic is only there to incentivize this kind of playstyle. To be honest, you should either go all in on the objective of die trying, not go out like a coward

I remember one time ETM was out and I had 6 dragon balls and I spent around half the match trying to get this dude to get me the singular dragon balls as soon as the ETM comes out he escapes and we had 30 seconds left so it’s safe to say I deranked

An etm gamer is a player that abandons a team to escape on the escape time machine.
The ETM or escape time machine is used when a game is lost, players specifically will throw games or allow games to be lost intentionally so they can use the ETM and survive.
