Is it bad that I don't passionately hate this movie, like I have become so apathetic to star wars (which I used to love) and now I feel nothing but an empty void and see nothing but moving colors and sound

That would only imply if it just died this very moment. Its fate was sealed the very moment the Mouse got his gloves all over the IP. The moment Star Wars died dates ALL THE WAY BACK TO 2012, which was also the moment God himself abandoned us. The Mayan Prophecy was partially true. 12/21/12 was the end of all things good, and the beginning of the Dark Ages.

I went to go see Episode 9 in theaters solely because I heard a leak of one scene from the movie that I needed to see for myself. I suffered through most of the movie to get to it. And finally, Luke’s ghost caught the lightsaber and said “A Jedi’s weapon deserves more respect.”
I cackled and immediately left the theater.
