You're miss remembering the mask of the phantasm, in the movie Andrea Beaumont, comes home to find her dad murdered by the mob since he didn't want to pay them, she then lies to bruce by saying her father left for Europe and that she's going to find him, in reality she starts training and hunting down the various mob bosses, before returning back to gotham to end the rest of the mobs lives.
All three rejected assasins have conections too the league of assasins. Maybe they didnt try to kill batman, cause the league only send shiva to talk to batman.
I had a suspiction about Shiva and Copperhead being members of the League of Assassins that were excommunicated by Ra's Al Ghul or by Talia Al Ghul for being too extreme.
“It’s not the face you’re given, it’s the face you choose” Probably one of the best comic book quotes I’ve ever heard. And it’s so true. It’s basically saying that people aren’t born good or evil, they make a choice to choose their own path. That their actions have consequences.
If I remember correctly, there was this one Riddler goon in Arkham Knight who mentioned that Riddler ranted to them about all the animals that hunt and kill bats, and how he in particular ranted about owls. I always interpreted it as a tiny tiny court of owls easter egg ^-^
Honestly the bane story in santa prisca would be an awesome animated show or movie. Just watching bane gather his own army to take on the cartels and brutally take back his home.
A personal theory I had for awhile was that Electrocutioner was never actually meant to receive the bounty for Batman All of the other assassins are shown being given the bounty after showing off their skills and are pretty well known, like Deadshot or Deathstroke Lester is shown electrocuting the bounty delivery guy and they make a point that he’s street muscle trying to make a name for himself The bounty was probably being delivered to a more qualified assassin and Lester intercepted the delivery and took the bounty for himself, after all whoever took down the bat was going to be famous and rich
I actually have a bit more evidence to back you up. During the assassin's background scene, they show the ages of most of the assassins. Deadshot is 27, Killer Croc 28, Firefly 28, Lady Shiva 30, and Deathstroke is 45. Meanwhile, Lester is onoy 24 years old, so he is still in his early 20's, whereas the other assassins (whose ages we know) are all in their late 20's or older. What you suggested sounds like something a young up and coming criminal (aka Electricutioner) would end up doing.

Eleven face's last quote about "The face you're given" gives me goosebumps. It kinda reminds me of the famous quote in Batman Begins that says "It's not who I am underneath, but what I do, that defines me" :) I remember I captured Two face in new game plus intentionally after the main story because I captured him before the main story in my first run, And when I saw that his dialogue changed in the Batmobile I was blown away. great vid BTW.
My head cannon is that Gotham knights is an alternate timeline to the Arkham universe. Stuff like joker being gone and Harley working alone are a good point but then there’s ras Al ghoul wanting Bruce to be the demons head. Also Gotham being 3 islands. Also Arkham asylum being run down and curt conners having the man bat formula and the colors being similar. Also freeze having a relationship with Batman of helping each other. Also the bat family members add up just a younger Tim drake and batgirl maybe recovering and the knight ending changing. Also clayface really can tie it together as it’s some version of him with a different fate and the one in game and they 2 are similar and the design as well. Also clay face has been gone for a year so 3 months after knight.
Arkham origins is interesting because it sets up lots of unseen stuff from the rest of the series. There’s a whole 8-10 years between origins and asylum so it’s a shelf we never got to see that fleshed out
About Andrea Beaumont: her father actually is killed in the movie before she returns to Gotham and becomes the phantasm. These postcards are either before she comes back to Gotham as the phantasm or maybe her father doesn’t get killed in this universe. With that being said this definitely doesn’t take place after she leaves Gotham on the boat because if the Arkham universe is anything like the movie her father is already dead and those postcards about finding her father wouldn’t make sense.

In Arkham Knight in the clock tower on one middle floor there is a computer that has the Court of Owls symbol as its wallpaper and shows messages between Oracle and someone else whose name is shortened on the computer.
Court of Owls probably didn't appear in the Arkham games, because the Court`s first appearance ever was in 2012. Since Asylum came out in 2009 and City in 2011, that explains it..
Court of owls pretty sure was only just recently in the comics when the Arkham games came out Asylum and City was already out. Court of owls was dc new52 first batman story which started 2011. Possibly storyline may have not even been finished at time Origins being developed so hence they just done the two Easter egg level.

I dont know how many people noticed (i noticed it after playing Arkham Origins like 10 times) but in the cutscene where batman sprays explosive gel under himself and bane in blackgate. The explosive gel he uses is the model from beta version of the game
Canonically bane is one of the people that was smart enough to figure out batmans identity and is hinted at as one of the smartest villains of batmans gallery. They used to do him dirty everywhere tho, always showing him as a muscleheaded lacky and idiot- He even has an entire arc of beating his dependency on venom when he realises he is just as strong without it and then beats his addiction to beat venom users just with his own body power and skills
I think Clownpuncher once showed that Zsasz has a hidden conversation with Batman after he reveals his identity. Of course, they ran out of time to incorporate his side-mission, but it’s interesting to know that Twelve-Face and Penguin weren’t the only ones with changeable dialogue.
I sure hope that the “rejected“ files mean that the villains rejected joker/black mask. Because if the crime Lord turned down black spider (pretty much evil Spider-Man in Young Justice and in assault on Arkham, he’s at least a decent fighter) in favor of electrocution. I would really have to question Mr J’s strategic skills.
Here’s the thing with the Andrea Beaumont thing, she left Gotham the first time because her father wanted to escape the mob (he never made it out of Gotham but she did) so she basically rejected Bruce’s marriage proposal her he fathers death, basically having her own Batman moment to focus on vengeance. Her sending those postcards may be her trying to get in touch because maybe she’s trying to reach out to Bruce because she needs some sort of comfort, but since Bruce has in a sense, let her go after she left and has fully committed himself to the mission. He’s not writing her back. And since it seems like the Arkham games might be making a comeback after Arkham shadow I wouldn’t mind getting a full AAA Game based around the court of owls and maybe having the phantasm being a side mission of sorts or a story DLC we need some more Phantasm love.

Not only because the Long Halloween is mentioned in Arkham Knight, but also because I could see Two face getting developed and the court of owls actually getting more involved in those events in a way since it’s a very mafiosi, underground story. the court of owls isn't ever mentioned up until origins because the court of owls was introduced into comics after both asylum and city came out (the owls debuted october 19 2011 while arkham city was released the day prior)
The thing I always hated about the Court of Owls is that they're supposed to be this organization of wealthy, old Gotham citizens, and neither Batman nor Bruce Wayne figured out their existence for ages. He's supposed to be the world's greatest detective, and in all his years of crime fighting before he discovered them he hadn't figured out their existence prior to when he did. It didn't make any sense to me.
He's a great detective but how are you going figure at some identity without a starting point? Only reason batman Findlay figures them out is because he finally got a starting point,

They have explored that in the comics where at one point, even when he’s not fighting Batman he still needs the dosage just to feel something. And when he tried to get clean he started going through withdrawals. Bane is, in fact, a drug addict and it fits for Gotham City.

Bane is a character that has been watered down to thug level, whereas, he is actually the antithesis to batman on every level. Joker may be the flip side of the coin to Batman, but Bane is his mirror image being just as intelligent, stronger, (with/without Venom), and alot more ruthless. I had arguments with people regarding breaking Batman's back and I keep hearing the same line "it wouldn't have happened if Batman wasn't worn down". Maybe, maybe not. That storyline just went to demonstrate, again, how intelligent Bane was to observe Batman's skills, tactics, durability, stamina, and endurance by releasing all of the inmates. Arkham Origins bane was a great representation

Man just think about how cool an Arkham Origins sequel or even trilogy could've been. The second game could've focused on Harvey Dent turning into Two-Face and the third on the Court of Owls. Have Deathstroke return maybe along with some other Suicide Squad members for Batman to fight. Barbara could start going out as Batgirl by herself so Batman agrees to train her and they could build up the batfamily a bit too. A bunch of villains that only got mentioned could've actually appeared. They could even feature some Green Arrow character because we know that the Birds or Prey exist in this universe. I would even play a Green Arrow game in the same style but that might just be me. Man did they pick the wrong horse to bet on

Bane is a character that has been watered down to thug level, whereas, he is actually the antithesis to batman on every level. Joker may be the flip side of the coin to Batman, but Bane is his mirror image being just as intelligent, stronger, (with/without Venom), and alot more ruthless. I had arguments with people regarding breaking Batman's back and I keep hearing the same line "it wouldn't have happened if Batman wasn't worn down". Maybe, maybe not. That storyline just went to demonstrate, again, how intelligent Bane was to observe Batman's skills, tactics, durability, stamina, and endurance by releasing all of the inmates. Arkham Origins bane was a great representation

Man just think about how cool an Arkham Origins sequel or even trilogy could've been. The second game could've focused on Harvey Dent turning into Two-Face and the third on the Court of Owls. Have Deathstroke return maybe along with some other Suicide Squad members for Batman to fight. Barbara could start going out as Batgirl by herself so Batman agrees to train her and they could build up the batfamily a bit too. A bunch of villains that only got mentioned could've actually appeared. They could even feature some Green Arrow character because we know that the Birds or Prey exist in this universe. I would even play a Green Arrow game in the same style but that might just be me.
