Floyd Burmeister is the real sleeper of this draft. Spewing my club won't have the picks to grab him. Where would you play him? There's a lot of Joe Daniher traits in this kid.
@@DylanAlexanderFollowsDraft Armstrong, Shanahan, the Witlocks, Gerreyn, Rohr, Burmeister, Faull, Sims, Nichols, West, Welsh, Stumpf, those are just the ones off the top of my head that are key forwards, probably others I've missed
I think the thing is you’ve done really well finding information about the Coates League players and the juniors competition. One thing I think you could definitely factor in more is mature age recruits, I think there will almost certainly be a few surprises like Garrett McDonagh a couple of years ago.
What pick do you think Kayle gerreyn will go and what clubs would take an interest into him? Do you think West coast would look at him as a Jack darling replacement?
Also, any chance Lions Academy key forward, Ty Gallop, sneaks onto Lions rookie list? Particularly now they're looking to replace Joe. Grandson of a close family friend. I havent watched his games, but seen he's kicked a few goals, and got QAFL rising star award, but not heard him mentioned by any pundits. Cheers
Another great video. When this series is finished, id love to see your "Top 10-20 drafees most likely to play regular AFL in 2025". A 'ready to go' list. Would be good to see that before (and maybe after) draft night so its not affected by their destination. Keep up the good work 👏🏻
Thoughts in Cody Anderson ? Thought he'd crack the top 45, also how would you rate both the camporele twins and finn o'sullivan, sounds like carlton have quite the hall incoming
@@mmabudhsit yeah he’s interesting, I hoped he’d have a better combine, definitely some traits but has a few weaknesses too! I think both the Camporeale twins will have careers, very good footballers just don’t have a lot of weapons, good runners and win the ball but lack a bit of polish. Definitely will add something though! FOS I rate so highly, he’s a total footballer, athletic and highly skilled. He’s my number 1 for a reason 😃
@@BigCatinBKK yeah it’s a good question. Ultimately if he’s good enough overhead at the level, he can play as a 3rd mobile tall. I’m not sure Hamish Davis is though so I think he’d have to convert into a full time inside mid.
@@BalletsBiggestFan they enter the draft at 33 so I think if there’s any of those top key position prospects that have slipped through like Dodson, Whitlock, Faull, Gerreyn or even a mraz they’d have a pop at that I’d think. If not they might just take a high talent someone like Angus Clarke or even Archer Day-wicks around that mark
@@Chuckakhanthat is true true but Barry’s aerial game was still extremely impressive. He was already considered very short back then. But was more of a joke anyway and to give “the star” a shoutout.

at the start of the year we were talking about this as a midfield draft, but I'm surprised how many quality talls there are.
@@anappropriatehandle yeah it’s true! I think the quality mids have pushed them back but there’s some good ones especially after the top 20

Yeah 100%! I’ve definitely had to manage that stuff as far as time but next year looking to cover more!

Hamish Davis might be on WC's radar with their second pick. Is he a legit midfielder?
@@BigCatinBKK yeah he’s a mid fwd type. 190cm big body, clean, really good player, hasn’t maybe got the upside of some but he’s a good footballer!

Great video mate!
Will you be doing a mock draft soon?
@@jackcro2146 hey mate! Yeah for sure, trying not to over do the Mocks but I’ll be researching hard and putting one more in before the draft!
Jack Ough!
Hopefully he doesn't get rubbed out.
😂 I see what you did there
@@DylanAlexanderFollowsDraft I hear that he's equally adept with his left or his right.
Lachie Jacques same height as Leo Barry. Just saying.
