great video! I have 5 or 6 sets from my childhood that I have saved. Especially the 2002 bounty hunter speeder pursuit and the UCS N1 starfighter. Phantom menace nostalgia hits hard. Loved the selection of sets
Awesome stuff, the LEGO items that mean the most to me are a 2009 Space Police Bike set that I rebought cause of nostalgia. Various older LOTR sets since they got me into those movies, the 2013 LEGO Employee gift with Blanket, and a McDonald's Galador Nick polybag I found at a Goodwill
Love the sentimental value in here. Was not expecting to have an item I sent you show up on this list so that was pretty heart warming. As for me I could never get rid of my Anakins Jedi starfighter since it was my first Star Wars set. My OG GameCube LSW video game also holds lots of value. My 2008 deathstar is also my favourite set so it stays with me as well. 10123 cloud city is also a favourite of mine that I spent years trying to obtain. That set unlike most people has more sentimental value than actual dollar value. I love that set because of what it is and means to me more than because it has become “rare and exclusive” among the fandom
One of my top emotional builds is the Lego Ninjago Morro Dragon I saw a poster with it and started taking with me a lot of places, played a speed build video of it again and again even in my head The vibes of that brought me back to ninjago and back to lego, I really wanted it and I didnt usually ask my mother for stuff
This was insightful and relatable! The 2004 Millennium Falcon, which I got for my 16th birthday, was my first Millennium Falcon and until the 2017 UCS came out, my only Millennium Falcon. I treasure it! And my Johnny 5 MOC is held the same regard you hold your Gunship MOC. I never played the original Lego Star Wars game, though (I was into the "mature" games like KotOR, Jedi Academy, and Jedi Starfighter), so it is interesting to see how much influence that had on you.
The mos espa podrace was one of my dream sets for years (despite being a clone wars fanatic). Last month I managed to snag one 100% with box and instructions. I definitely get that feeling of tying off loose ends!
Yeah my Favorite Set i still own is the 1999 Podrace Set. I just love it for some reason. #2 would be my open room Death star. Not to mention those are the only 2 sets i own now other than an older Boba Fett Ship thats missing half of it, an older Sandcrawler (which is pretty dope too actually) and the new Mos Eisley Cantina UCS set that i havent cracked into yet. Still got all my Rare Mini Figs though! And a ton of great customs as well. 🤟🏼
