I just love to think of what's going through Oryx's head during this whole fight. Here's a literal God who killed one of his own Gods, laid waste to countless civilizations, and can directly tap into the manifestation of all evil in the universe. And then here comes a tiny little Warlock who just won't stay dead no matter how many times he's put down, can demolish his forces while fighting him, and goes about killing him as well. To top it off, the last thing the infamous Taken King sees as he slowly fades away is the little fuck who did it all dancing like a jackass on his throne like it was no big deal.

The content void that vanilla destiny had has been filled in and improved a lot since taken king came out. Destiny's definitely getting there. I quit year 1 after the first expansion, but now thar I'm back I'm enjoying it a ton amd would definitely recommend it. Seriously though, this guy operates this raid like a machine, it's amazing.

+Malacite Pretty sure that it has to do with bosses health being modified to the number of players in the activity ... that's why solo nightfalls can be completed in similar time as with 3 people - bosses have a lot less health when you're solo
Well done, man! :) Two questions if you don't mind: So to imitate this you need a 318+ Sleeper Simulant, a good high stability 320 1000-Yard-Stare (looks like you used the vendor one?)... anything else that is required equipment-wise? Also, how do you control the Vessel of Oryx? Do you just grab his attention and jump to the other side of where you plan to kill the ogres and then jump over to the ogres and finish them off? I am guessing the point is that the Vessel takes longer to arrive at the new position of where the spheres would be by that time you have detonated them? EDIT: Gatsby, I hope you don't mind, I'll post your answer to this question from the reddit thread: "The Vessel strategy took LOTS of time re watching my past streams. I figured out that vessel runs way from bombs if the ogre is killed right next to him, he does that many times in the video. I think that was an extremely crucial part to me beating this."

I knew this would be only a matter of time before a Warlock was able to self res after grouping the bombs and group detonating them, kudos for being first to think outside the box and beat Bungie's raid developers at their own game. You managed to survive after countless jumps while being whaled on and still managed to complete the jump to the highest pillar somehow, congrats on completing, and glad to see a normal leveled guardian do it so that others will attempt it down the line. Just a tip: consider using 5 warlocks with self res and a titan bubble guy for ads, hunters are EXTREMELY useful throughout the raid except for this part since you can't tether oryx. I've played with many hunters and this part isn't best suited for them, cept killing the shade and generating orbs.
Did u learn to control the vessel or did u just get the most insane rng on the vessel ever. If u guys did not know by the way this solo is reliant on if the vessel comes and eats your orbs or not but it look as if u were kinda controlling him. Anyways great run

Actually almost the exact same loudout but Tfue had life support on the pulse which gives an advantage for the shade.
