Really enjoy your reviews Ben. I have the Anker Soundcore Mini 3 and absolutely love that speaker. It's waterproof as well and I take it in the shower but I now know which speaker to upgrade to!
As an owner of a pair of soundcore budget noise cancelling earbuds, I can attest to their build quality and overall performance. So it comes as no surprise that even at just $79, this speaker would be good.

I bought two. They sound great together. The Bose flex has more detail and quality. However, the Soundcores update right from iPad. They have an EQ within a pretty decent app. If Bose had those two things I’d say go with Bose but for the price and features you can’t go wrong with Soundcore.
Hi Ben. I'm totally a Bose guy with the micro and the flex speakers my go to ones. How does this one compare with them? It'll really take something for me to switch from Bose.
hope that rubber exterior doesn't turn gooey after a few month of use, i hate it when that happens...
Thanks for the review, once you download the app & adjust the equaliser to your taste, will it save your setting when you turn the speaker off or does it return back to its original default setting once you turn the unit back on? Cheers

I could see this being used in hotel rooms or something, but when I'm in public spaces, I'd rather not others hear what I'm listening to. lol
Hey ben one question can this connect to two different mobile phones not at the same time but like u can pair it to both n use alternatively.
Just spoke with a Soundcore agent on the phone who confirmed that no it does not have multi-point which is what you're talking about which is a shame cause Ben really sold me on this especially using it in the shower is pretty cool, not that I am taking half hour showers but still a nice feature.
Soundcore is fantastic in terms of headphones earbuds etc they r better than airpods . My Soundcore Liberty air 2 pro last more than my airpods n charge so quickly connect efficiently same for life q10 headphones. Wud love to have dese too but not available in India as of now.

Based on his link to a promotional code I would think this is probably a paid spot but that's speculation. It should be clearly marked if it is.
Soundcore is very aggressive in hiring TH-camrs to do promotions for them, of course sending them review kits but in many cases paid spots.
Sometimes people will just have little identifiers that "video contains promotional material"... Some creators are more transparent and will say right from the get-go "sound core sponsored me to make this video..."brought to you from sound core etc..."
I love their products but the marketing is getting awfully aggressive on TH-cam and it's turning me off. I hate to even say that because I already own two motion booms, Liberty 3 pro, q30, life u2, life nc .... But I have a very much been turned off with their marketing of the x600 speaker which I think has some spurious claims.
@@michaelcorcoran8768 I was thinking the same thing. It actually has to be marked as an ad by law in many countries and by TH-cam policy. In any case it's shady behavior to not mention or clearly indicate it to the viewers.

Bit of a shame they excluded the 3.5mm jack, but I guess that's just another questionable practice Soundcore employed to be more like Apple. First they dropped aptX (Windows & Android, super low latency) for the more limited use of LDAC (Android only, with latency), and now this.
Are you really that kind of person who turns on speaker in public places? How about earphones bringing some value to your life? I mean, it's clearly a promotion, but not a smart one.
You think I would be inconsiderate to play loud music when people are near? You think I wouldn't check to make sure it's ok? Is there anyone near me in any of the clips?

Portable speakers are meant for that usage. It is designed to be not loud enough to annoy anyone near you but also not soft enough to be not heard. Don't be ignorant 😂

I take mine to the pool to the beach family get togethers cookouts to work sometimes if everyone can agree on music. Lots of things. When I'm outside grilling by myself. So many things. Weird argument actually
