i’m kinda in the same boat, apartment has started growing black mold MUSHROOMS due to a flood in the floors above mine and they were like, yeah we don’t wanna fix it so we’re gonna sell the apartment as is, btw, find a new place to live :/

I just started to eat my food pantry empty for a move. The move will be like in a year - I have LOTS of food stored in my small apartment :D Your apartment seems like a "tolerable" amount of things! Very good.

With a baby And 2 elementary school kids, My husband working overnights- it is hard! I'm kind of in the same spot as you were and it made me realize that I am able to see the big picture and declutter a lot easier and faster vs starting early. Plus the builder kept changing the closing date and I'd have to unpack so many things I packed. We were supposed to move 2 months ago. I'm the kind who would cram the night before a test, I always did so much better lol Annnd the movers will be here in 5 hrs. Almost done though. Most of it is going to be donated or tossed if it's junk.
I have such bad anxiety about this, and I'll be able to grab stuff from my house because I'm moving out for the first time! I can't imagine doing this in such a short amount of time.

Since im not wearing my summer clothes because its cold so im already packing them and getting it all ready, im getting the stuffs i dont need really until a few months ready, like its winter so im packing the summer right now because im moving in like less than 2 month, im pretty excited and also pretty sad for leaving this house that ive lived in my whole life, and im also getting really far from my school, but thats fine because my father can drive me to there, but im just saying that u shouldnt make the same mistake as her, pack a week earlier because time passes quickly, so u can already pack things u dont use yet, like the different weather type of clothes, and small decorations❤🙂
thank you for posting this i also have one day left to move and i just haven’t had any motivation to pack stuff from my room from all the heavy lifting i’ve done the past few days we just moved to this house not that long ago but then the house got invaded by rats and the landlords didn’t really do anything to help we’ve tried so many traps there’s a whole colony and they’ve just continuously destroyed thousands of dollars worth of stuff so we’re basically just having to start over every time i see a rat turd in my room i just wanna cry it’s so so disgusting everything feels dirty even after it’s been cleaned multiple times i hope it’ll be better for my family this time and hope you’re doing good as well
