Thank you for commenting on modern day colonisation and cultural appropriation in the spiritual field! This is SUCH an important topic, and one people often bypass with "love and light-esque' reasons. Part of this journey is being a warrior for morals and truth on all levels of existence, and this discrimination CANNOT be ignored. If you want to experience the gifts/medicines of a particular culture, tradition or land, you MUST be willing to stand WITH THEM on political and socio-cultural levels. ONENESS IN PRACTICE.

Right!!!!!!!!!! Hitomi, I'd love to hear more on cultural appropriation, colonalization, etc. as I feel we can dive so much deeper, those are such overlooked topics, which definitely deserve more attention within both the spiritual community and every other community out there!

Yes! thank you for putting this into words. 🙏 It's very important to me that people with a following especially people who share (...and profit from) their spiritually, use their voice for the greater good. They don't have to educate directly from their platform, but I should hope they will share news, petitions, fundraisers, address what's going on in the world. otherwise I feel uncomfortable about supporting them and unfollow. Dear Hitomi, I would love to see you speak up more, I've had to take a break from your channel the past year but I would love to come back to your energy fully and comfortably. ❤ Great video. Sending love

As a kanaka maoli, I really appreciate you shedding light on modern colonization here in Hawaiʻi. The U.S. is actively still participating in the erasure of Native Hawaiians in so many ways including the U.S. N*vy poisoning our aquifers. Mahalo nui for educating others of our experience on your platform.

Ayahuasca literally changed my life in such a profound way when I first sat with Her 13 years ago. She helped me purge out layers of density accumulated over lifetimes and lifetimes and I've been reuniting with her on a yearly basis ever since. I actually came to Her before finding Yoga. My interest in Yoga was a natural by-product of doing so much work with plant medicine and helped to "anchor in" all Her teachings. We are all so blessed to have such powerful tools for self-realisation in this life. I pray that more people find their way to these powerful lineages. Blessings to you fellow Scorpio sister ;)

I just want to say, from the moment you spoke about giving up your wounded inner child I didn't stop crying until the end of the video. I honestly can't believe how much your words have touched me. I feel as though my spiritual journey was tainted years ago, but you've become such a touchstone for what is possible. Maybe one day I'll explore again, but I just want to say thank you. Even right at the end when you said, "thank you for letting me a voice in your life for all these years", you really have been a part of my life, like a glimmer of hope if I put in the work. Thank you so much for making this video.

Thank you for speaking about Native’s I am from Navajo tribe and we are so connected with our culture, land, and language still! It took a lot of fighting by our elders to keep that for us! I would be careful about what you share because unfortunately a lot of people will take native traditions and cultures to profit off it. We use sacred medicine for spirituality just like you did but not everyone sees it that way. Please follow Native content creators etc to show support! It is so sad for Hawaii and their land, sending you positivity to help show what is going on there ♥️

I visited Kauai last winter and saw Native Hawaiians darker than me and I wanted to talk to them so bad because I felt terrible being there after seeing them but I also felt connected and drawn to them. Many are literally blind to it. All they see is green--paper baby, stacks! That's it. Dear Hitomi, thank you so much for sharing. I am sure it was a vulnerable experience for you to share these deep truths and understandings of your inner work online. I want to express my deep gratitude for your presence here, and want to tell you that your conversation here touched me very deeply and I felt a spark of healing light up inside myself just trough listening to you. I have always believed, through healing ourselves we heal the world - and also while deeply knowing this, there was always my head questioning this and wondering, how (or if?) this actually really works. Your video was an answer to my question - through sitting with you and your energy and frequency this half hour, I also felt inner knowings arise, past experiences of inner healing that I already had forgotten and images and visions come to me. I felt the waves of energy, that came trough you, because you opened yourself up in front of the camera with the intention of sharing it here for us, inside myself and triggering a healing effect as well and bring clarity and insight. There is no more beautiful thing than that and I am so grateful for your offering. Thank you for your energy, I will send some back your way

Our spirits are so different. I loved hearing about your lightness, flowery soma, lingerie dancing, candy land prancing...my experience is that of a very quiet willow.

Hitomi, did you know that anthropologically Native Americans originally came from East Asia (who travelled through Siberia) and settled in the Americas? DNA research have also shown an affinity with a specific ethnic group called the Jomon people from pre-historic Japan. I feel like the universe is drawing me away from this capitalist, colonialist, imperialist constructed society and opening me to seeing ways of relating to the world rooted in love and abundance. And I also want to share because I don’t want to feel so isolated with the things I saw.

As a white person who has felt drawn to Hawaii but never visited I am super great full to hear about this, it’s not something that I have ever had the chance to learn about or came up. I definitely would LOVE more videos on speaking about this and will be more thoughtful and try and learn a little more and research. 🙏🏻 I’m just so thankful I clicked on this video tonight.

This is the most beautiful and least creepy experience i heard about Ayahuasca. I guess it has to do with that "full-body yes" you felt. I don't feel such thing, i am terrified but the time arrived and i have to do it. I expect the worst fears and the deepest healing. It is time. Thank you for your testimony.

Hitomi this video brought me to tears and was so vulnerable and brave. especially you addressing that you yourself should not be in Hawaii. I was thinking of moving there but have always felt a guilt to it. you are so courageous and brave for being honest. and thank you for sharing your story, this was very eye opening as I myself have never felt called to any plant medicine and am totally sober, but seeing a woman I truly respect speaking on this gives perspective

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. It helps me to gain perspective on my own cultural experiences, being someone with Native heritage who has largely been cut off and denied my own culture, which is also now being grossly gentrified. Hearing your experience gives me more determination to connect with my culture and be resolute about keeping it alive. Thank you thank you thank you 🙏🏼

I am literally in tears right now. Before i found your videos I was thinking about my childhood abuse and trauma and how to heal them. This morning I stumbled upon your channel and I already feel so connected to you. When you spoke about how you felt immense forgiveness for anyone who have hurt you in the past ; I was sobbing so hard. Because it made me happy for you, you do not have to revisit those cycles or wounds anymore. So glad I found your videos 🤍

As a Kanien'kehaka first nation, your video had me sobbing. I have been watching your videos here and there for the past year or so. This video is what I needed to hear. Kind of funny how it happened. I woke up early this morning, needing to listen to something to get me in a good uplifted mood as I have my very first podcast/discussion today. The topic is Shame & Resilience a trauma informed discussion with myself as well as my support councellor who I've been meeting with regularly since the age of 13. I'm 19 now and still living in my home town of Kahnawake. It would be an honour to meet you one day. It would be an honour for you to visit Kahnawake and to learn about some of our history, teachings and songs. You truly have a beautiful soul and are an inspiration to many! You found your calling and your gift and watching you helps me feel like I'm on the right path towards finding my own. Much love to you💕
