This was so much fun! I don't mind if there is a sequel about your progress as you work your way through this set. I'd happily watch an hour of this kind of super-nerdiness. I love that magic system myself, it is practically infinite. By the way, your description made me think of a Mastermind type I love to play in City of Heroes, namely Beast Mastery (summoning bees, ravens, wolves, and lions) and Nature Affinity (summoning healing and harmful plants and mushrooms). Your description literally caused me to remember playing that combination. Who knows, you might get some ideas from reading up on it if you don't have time to try it yourself.
Might be a bit basic, but I would like to maybe see something for Jujutsukaisen by making a cursed technique where the limits of it get explored, aka the extended cursed technique , cursed technique reversal and maximum cursed technique applications. Also I really like when creators really think about creating their own Domain Expansion since they are based on the users Inner Domain which is a Mental Landscape that encapsulates everything of the user (Memories,Experiences , Cursed Technique, Soul). When I created my own cursed technique and domain expansion for fun I ended up really liking it since they are based around my own experiences and me which makes it really personal for when I tried to think of the multitude of unique uses and Binding Vows that could be placed to personalise it further. Also also, I find it really interesting that cursed techniques are also based around the interpretation of the user which ends up changing the exact same technique when used by different people (Even if only very few cases have been shown for that but those that did get shown had some big differences while also not entirely changing what the technique does in the first place. I recommend to watch the videos of multiple different people that explain the power system since some may lack some minor but important information on it. Also stands from Jojo’ bizarre adventure are just great for personalised powers and Hatsu Nen abilities from Hunter x Hunter are also great for similar purposes. It is just fun to watch people create their own powers using the outlines of cool magic systems.
Great video. I really need to look more into He Who Fights with Monster and Essence. Sounds wicked. I made you a spreadsheet to get your random 3 essence weighted by rarity (info from the HWFWM wiki). I posted earlier with a link, but I don't see it here. Well, there are probably a range of different dragons in the world, so you might be able to get away with things like Serpent, Reptile, Fire, Ice, Beast, Dominion, Air, Sky, claw or something like that. Not all of those are in the official list, but they seem like reasonable things to find
@@themagicengineer5314 Yes exactly! I think I settled on the idea of a Dragon's Hoard. so I went with a (Gold Essence) since iron exists that must mean other metals must too. Then, a Hunt Essence and to finish it off the Might Essence.
