I've been using this for years. Not as a gel but as an aide to add moisture. I SWEAR by it. I use it daily with my leave in conditioner when I rebraid my hair. It says it rebalances moisture and I believe it does. I love it in my 4c hair. P.s. I don't braid for a twist out ... it's just for the moisture aspect.
@@dianalogan6185 use the SCurl no drip activator juice with it 😉. Actually any gel with the juice does wonders, even for coarse hair. Ex. Wetline Xtreme, Eco styler etc.

I bought the S Curl Styling gel in silver and blue jar. It has more hold and clumping ability than this, but it still makes your hair ridiculously soft. I'm gonna try it with eco styler gel on top next. I need my hair hold. I think these types of gels would be perfect as moisturizers under gels without causing flakes.

Next time wet the hair first before putting the gel then cantu on.
You didn't use enough S curl and you have to have wet hair.I use it under the gel when I wash n go
I brought everything from Cantu nothing works for me with that brand....
