Hiii Lamia! Your interning at UN Series have become my Holygrail for applying at Unicef internships. Love the clarity you have given about the different topics and also thank you so much for putting these out for us! I do have a question about the dissertation you mentioned. I come from a science background (I did my Bachelor's in Zoology) and so my dissertation is also based on that subject. Do you think it's worth mentioning in a unicef application then? And also do you think I'm at a disadvantage at getting into these internships because I'm not from a social science or humanities background?

Hey Safreen, I'm so glad you're enjoying the Interning at the UN series. About your first question, it's really up to you - add it if you'd like them to know you've done a dissertation. About your second question, they always say that the UN needs people from all study fields. That said, I do think your skills would especially be appreciated in an organisation like WWF for example. How many pages would you recommend for the CV? If I cannot mention all important parts in one page, is it ok to do it in two or it’d be better to try to cramp it all in one?

Hey Sabina, that's a great question! I used to be a staunch 'one page ONLY!' person, but now I don't think there's anything wrong with two pages. (As long as you don't go over 2 pages!)
