Haha! Thanks Moni :-) You have no idea... I'm even considering getting a pasta subscription service. Good luck with your CV and let me know how your future applications go!

Hi,Raj, could you give some suggestions on a CV specifically for PhD application? I think it might be slightly different

Absolutely - so with CVs for PhD applications, you'll want to include any presentations or conferences you've attended or spoken at, including those at your university for your master's/bachelor's. I'd also recommend a technical breakdown of your skills that are relevant to the kind of research you want to do at PhD... so less talk of modules, and more talk of relevant contents e.g. if you're applying for a Chemistry PhD, instead of listing your master's modules as simply 'Principles of Materials Chemistry' you might instead talk about techniques within the module like spectroscopy - if it's relevant to what you want to research. You can find more info on CVs for PhD applications here: www.findaphd.com/advice/finding/phd-cv.aspx

Hi, would it be possible for you to do a video on CV for Masters applications?

Hi Raj, the service email has appeared behind the subtitles. Better to post on the top of the slide.

Hi Paromita - thank you for raising this - I definitely appreciate it. That was the first video I made so I was still learning how/where to position things. Apologies! If you have any questions, please send them to me at careers.marketing@ucl.ac.uk and thanks for stopping by :-)
