The refs called all the contact against UConn and UConn couldn't shoot 3s for some reason. So, every time UConn would go in the paint O would just pile on 'em and strip the ball with no fear of ref calls. I don't know whether that floor bothered the players, but it about made me sick.
Best part of the game is knowing the seniors will graduate and new freshman coming in. Besides Paige, Griffin, and Ducharme the rest are Husky imposters.

However, we don't know if that would've happened, besides just having Williams as a threat to knock down the 3 would have forced Oregon out of the zone that also holds true for Fudd. Similarly, you can't play a zone for an entire game with a ball distributor and shooter like Paige B. Coaches don't prepare for what happened in the past, they prepare for what could potentially happen in a game now.

UCONN has players that backdown when defenses play them tough. Geno's offense is transition quick strike. Every other team knows this. They have no half court game other than Paige. Lock down Paige and it's easy pickings. The Zona game is on here. Just watch it again.

UCONN does play smart in moving the ball like using fake, dribble away from their opponent and body movement that’s why Ortegon can anticipate their passing and shooting. Oregon moves the ball better, that’s why they have more opening in 3 points

UCONN's coaching gap over other coaches and its monopoly on talent simply ain't what it use to be and arguably never will be again. Geno is smart and he knows he needs to do better recruiting beyond player rank#. He will make changes...question is, will he ever catch up and return to the mountain top for another extended stay. The odds would seem to be against UCONN ever replicating its sustained dominance.

I count only one that wasn't playing. Fudd won't shoot anything other than a open 3 with the defender in the paint and Williams disappears in the 4th.

O was on our players tight and going for the ball and the refs just wouldn't call fouls. It became more like wrestling at times.
