- Diablo 2: Resurrected is THE entry-point for beginners to the series.
Is Diablo 2 Resurrected the best version of the game?
Diablo 2: Resurrected is an action role-playing, hack and slash, top-down view, grind until you can’t anymore and then keep grinding, watch the numbers go up, evolve from nothing to an actual god, addicting, unforgiving, random loot drops changing literally your entire build, so many different classes to try and master, insane boss battles, extremely repetitive, scary even, genre-defining, you get to visit hell, not unlimited running, potion chugging, inventory management, randomly generating maps monsters and loot, the developers actually trusting the player to get things done and find their own way, slow one of the best remasters ever made, playing alone will have you surrounded in seconds by hordes, dying is actually kind of funny,, masterpiece of a title and I think it’s an excellent place to sink your teeth into for the first time in the Diablo series.

Good video👍
thank you!!
D2 is one of the greatest games ever made. Probably have years played at this point
laughs in "PC Master Race"
Great video! I used to play like you: on and off every so often. But there is SO much more to this game. Layers upon layers of depth that you get to experience as you find out more about it. You're just staring at the rabbit hole. You should go down it. But be prepared to spend hours and days and weeks on this game..
It all started for me when i discovered that i had to grind the countess, mephisto, andariel etc.. As in : defeat them, exit, defeat them again etc. Just beat nightmare for example and then go back to act one to do andariel and countess. You will find so many unique items, runes and other things that you will pull you in..... It's addictive! :)
yeah im slowly going through diablo 4 and its not quite scratching the same itch, and defeating Andariel multiple times sounds like it might be right up my alley… thank you i might just be headed back in for more!!!
@@OrignalNameHere if you play offline, the maps stay the same, so farming goes faster. You will find runes to make gear for your character, increasing speed even more. And then there are terror zones, dclone, ubers, sunder charms to defeat immunes.. layers upon layers of fun and progression 😂
can you give some reason why should new players play this on a controller rather then keyboard and mouse?
I like playing on controller lol
nah, i disagree on controller use. theres no way to manage some builds with a controller. moving is slowed way down in the end game making progress way less if you use controller
agreed. the push towards controller is for new players as it gets them comfortable with the game and its mechanics and it’s unlikely they will go all the way to true end game
Back in the day when there were zero games like this or were unknown, sure, it was, now it's a different story. D2 Resurrected is only a game now 40 year olds who don't know any better lmao
"Nightmare act 2 then new title" Controller makes sense then, you'll be torn apart in hell with that.
On the other points i do agree with you, remaster is pretty good. Diablo 2 really is the isometric rpg, best one ever.
yeah im not sure how the harder difficulties would go haha! you can see me teleporting all over the place against andariel
@@OrignalNameHere You should try the hell difficulty too ^_^ it's a nice challenge. I would go on and say game does not start till you reach hell.
Diablo 3 is much easier for noobs just saying, I walked through people more on Diablo 2 then Diablo 3
11:17. You can actually turn the normal campaign into a "real game" by upping the player scaling. On PC it's /players, and on console there's an option to add "fake" players to the game. I was totally bored with this game on normal, but it was saved for me by allowing to up the scaling, actually making the game challenging. Normal is a total joke with 1p mobs. Even 8 players is totally soloable, which is a testament to how much of a joke normal is. One player can handle what's supposedly 8 players' worth of enemies. Your gear doesn't feel impactful at all when the game is so easy. Diablo 4 is totally ruined because it lacks this option. You have to waste your life on boring easy gameplay.
i’ve gotta try this! i assume the experience you gain gets pushed up as well!! ive been playing diablo 4 a lot lately and it truly isn’t the same
@@OrignalNameHere Yes, you also get more XP and better loot. It's a great feature and makes up for the fact that you aren't allowed to choose whatever difficulty you want from the start. Diablo 3 lets you start on Extreme, which is nice. Too bad it lacks a proper death penalty.
I also tried Diablo 4 yesterday, and I had the same experience. It's just mind-numbingly easy. I had 5 mobs on me, went afk, and when I came back I had full HP still (on world tier 2.) My passive HP regen was more than what 5 enemies could deal in damage. I just can't play a game like that. What's the point?
I stopped watching this bs after he told me to play PC game on controller. FU
Ya wtf haha
This game on a controller is nearly unplayable. Keyb and mouse is the way to go. Diablo 1 and 2 are complex and hard games, but they are also the only good Diablo games. So they are a point of entry and you just need to never quit !
