Might be a dumb question but im new to blender, why would u render animation as a png? Isnt it for pictures only? When i did render my animations i always did ffmpeg
Hey ! So the thing is if u export it as a video like assume it has 500 frames and takes 50 hours .. so if were to export it as a video and reach halfway and the pc crashes .. u lose all the progress so far but if u do it as a png or tif u can resume it as it does the processes frame by frame :) so no issues if anything goes wrong in between , later on u can combine the pngs to make a video in either blender editor/davinchi/premiere pro
