Unweighted code means the bits at different positions in the code aren't associated with specific weights. For example:- 8421 is a weighted code. Now, if we write any binary number in this format as 1101, then it means LSB i.e '1' is having weight as 1, '0' has weight 2, '1' has weight 4 & MSB i.e '1' has weight 8. Since, no such positional weight exists for Gray code, we call it unweighted code. Hope it's clear to u now.

Hey Marry! Great question, it's becuase the definition of Gray code is nibble based instead of 5 bit-based, so instead of going passed the 4th bit, we "reinstantiate" it (like the last state of a clock) and begin again at 0. Hope that helps :)

Because if you take all the other digits *other than msb* , they reflect from the middle:
8 and 7 (X100)
9 and 6 (X101)
10 and 5 (X111)
