@@OXSEnterprises It is, I used to have a 10 foot Achilles with a vintage Johnson 25 hp (RD-15) with a modified prop, it was also souped up... Carb, reeds, compression and exhaust... On a semi cloudy day I could outrun the clouds running over 4 foot waves to tan. It ran totally opposite to the Thunder Cats... The brakes 2 blade was cupped with extra pitch, it really grabbed the water, I would run along the top crests of waves with little surface contact. I could glue it to the surface, and run smooth. It also had a one piece floor that was braced to the transom with welded aluminum oval tubing, that you could grab onto. It was closer to 45 hp and the motor was just over 100 lbs. So...it was fun! These look amazing.
wow - best production so far! Awesome footage!!!!!, nice cutting and good music choice. really longing for summer and the sound of screaming Tohatsu's - well done. thanks for sharing
No prob - bloody enjoyed this one. Hope the longhaul is equally eventful. btw -any extra footage/pics of the rather flash trailer the Waikato Sandblast. guys are running? I'd like to see more -maybe get inspired.
I would imagine that the longs are much harder to cut/make interesting (all the more reason to splurge on a massive drone.....) - if the trailers fit in at some points: No complaints from me.
It's a shame. There's actually an American Facebook group with heaps of people in it but like the Australians there's a lot of talk about top speed one up use rather than actually racing.
One of these hulls became available by me and I'm really fighting teh urge to buy it and start looking for other racers in New England area! Anyone know of any resources state side that could help get me into it without buying a boat haha Hell I'll even photograph and video.
makes me want to get one! hot shit! i semi used to that in 1988 on a 15ft whaler. 70hp. i;d stand up with a rope tied to the bow cleat. and rip through the marsh cuts like a viking! this is cool!
Great drone work, sick music, hard and fast competition with a howling offshore.. a joy to watch
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed ✌
InstaBlaster...
I hope you continue to film it mate, i understand it probably pays little or none but the footage is absolutely awesome. I love watching them.
I will be staying on for a little while. Cheers for the feedback 🤙
My absolute favourite channel!!! Good work thanks again fellas.
Cheers mate going strong.
Best shots are onboard looking back at the other boats flying off the top of the waves super great video

Long Hauls are much harder to keep interesting but we did get some good footage! I don't have a hell of a lot of their trailer, can get some though.

Old Ladies, by Charles Boyd
why do all the drivers control the tiller from their left hands
most all motors come with a left hand tiller control. Who knows why?
This looks insane
Awesome fun 😀
@@OXSEnterprises how long does it take to put all those clips together? I wonder what your timeline looks like
Somewhere about 20 hours. Timeline looks disgusting haha. The 2020 Nationals we shot about 900gb of footage.
@@OXSEnterprises well the video turnd out great
Cheers mate 👍

Thanks!
А что это за лодки? Мотор 50лс 2т?
What props are used here
Mainly 13's
So why do these seem to go faster than a zodiac ?
Less drag, less weight.

Seems to be tricky over there. Have had a lot of questions with no real answers unfortunately.
