I love these stieger tractors, have never ran or even been around one before but they are beautiful and w case buying/ using their technology that says alot about how good of a piece of equip they are. I have ran a 9380 qt for awhile, my boss man had one in the early 2000s up until about 2008 2009. I loved that tractor. It would handle our 12 row bedder or strip till like nothing I have ever seen, like it wasn't back there. I ripped the hitch off of the bedder once and two other ppl help us once and twice apiece until we got if beefed up right. I wish he wouldn't have sold that tractor, it outrides any other tractor they is on dirt or if anything soft. Never had any trouble out of it at all. I love that thing. Could be using it w big landlevel around pond I would be digging out w trackhoe and it would take the mud mostly we even a good footprint and go wherever w it. I didn't like having to use it for that but w pushing for time it was the only thing we had that would get out there and get the pond finished up before we were all spread out in the fields wide open. Best most comfortable tractors I ever been in. I liked the cab, how much seat would turn, the foot pegs, visibility, better than our new deere's now. Alot of things w those tractors is ahead of their time and they bout bulletproof

I was fortunate enough to operate all the PTA series when I was younger. 225,310(2),325, Ford fw-30 (minus that 9 0 nothing poweplant) All were to retrofitted to 3406B Cats and any standard trans changed out for the Allison if not already equipped. Nose stretched out 15or 18 inches to accommodate the big cats
Tilling, bunker silo packing, corn planting, manure injection, etc.
This series was the heart and soul of a 10k head dairy..
Seeing and hearing one again literally makes my hair stand up..💕💕

It had snowed- a little unusual for our area- then rained, then froze, so we’re left with an solid, slick, field of ice. He went out and spread fertiliser on the ice. 2 weeks later, everything is still frozen solid, nothing is visible let alone growing and he I’d told to top it again.

Our local dealer sold two green series 3 Steigers to a couple of brothers and one was the Tiger PTA 450 and the other was a Panther 325 or 350 not sure the smaller one was automatic, one condition of the sale is that both had to have a Sony compact color television installed. Back then around 1980 that was a huge amount of money for the pair !!!!!!!!!!!!
The farmer who farms my ground also had a PTA 325 or PTA 350, not sure which, his only complaint was fuel usage. Would love to drive one some day.
