Listening to the first part of the audio, he says a flood caused this to happen. So lesser of two evils here. Leave the equipment and let long term water inundation ruin it or do as he did here, try to drive it out of the flooded area. I'd vote for trying to drive it out.
I'm guessing the tractor was on the other side and not actually stuck in the flood waters. There is another video that shows it starting off near the waters edge so commons sense would suggest leave it there until the flood waters reside.
In the plow yes but the Steiger doesn't have grease in the wheel bearings, it has a planetary wheel drive which are full of oil and very expensive to overhaul.
Judging by the case of Lime A Rita's on the dash and the fact he has to drive through this shit in the first place I'm gonna wager these boys aren't too smart. Who the fuck leaves their equipment in a floodplain when it's going to flood?
