Clavell's Cyclizar using Shed Tail to swap in the last starter would make so much sense as a strategy, and would be funny. And a really good strategy for that battle, as I actually don't remember Clavell's team
The only "Ninja" themed Pokémon besides Greninja I can think of for Atticus is Accelgor which fits PERFECTLY with him. While it's pure Bug Type, it knows a handful of Poison Moves, which is the Type Atticus primarily uses.

I've just got one comment, for the fire team star leader, she has a charcadet for a reason in the story, she's been trying to evolve it but hasn't been able to. That's why she has armarouge in her final battle to show that she's finally managed to evolve it. I'm pretty sure it's mentioned in a few of the cutscenes that happen after beating bases
Is it supposed to be the charcadet that shows up at her base? In the flashback after you beat mela it says she managed to evolve a bunch of charcadets, so I don’t see why she couldn’t use one of them.

Level scaling in general would be great and should been given, the team changes would be cool but asking too much from GF as would the individual star mobiles but would be really neat for each to have own.
Personally, I've always felt that an explanation for Geeta's subpar team could be that it's her way of getting around the fact that she struggles to hold back. After all, she knows that it's a problem, especially for her line of work, and she definitely has the skill to train up a team that, while not as strong as her A-team, is still well-trained enough to stand up to trainers who make it to her. For her hypothetical A-Team, I absolutely agree with the Glimmora lead and Kingambit final pokemon, it just makes sense. Gamefreak needs to have trainers lead off with their ace and highest level pokemon more often, honestly. I also personally think that, with a bit of AI cheating to favour flip turn or switching out, she could use Palafin on her A-team. It would be an excellent chance to show off a new pokemon with a special gimmick, while giving her a pokemon with legendary-tier stats. Forget making Clavell's Cyclizar a secondary ace, using shed tail+regenerator to get an easy switch into the starter would be amazing, and he could keep Cyclizar back as his proper ace. It honestly makes no real sense for Clavell's ace to be dependent on starter choice. Also, as much as I like Penny's Eevee theme, I would argue that it would have made more sense to have her use a pokemon of each of the bosses types, plus one Eeveelution as her ace.
Idk I think Geeta having a disappointing team was more of game freak dropping the ball than any in game reason, it be cool if they switched her team up for a battle after you complete the DLC’s that are probably coming.

Even if it's ultimately just a coping mechanism, I think they definitely could get away with retconning this into reality with the DLC. Maybe if they were to re-add e4 rematches and let us challenge Geeta to take her title of Top Champion, she could go all out, or something like that.
Instead of giving Geeta Dragapult, I would give her Salamence, because every champion type trainer (except Wallace and Alder) had a pseudo-legendary at some point. Blue has Tyranitar in Gold and Silver, Crystal, Firered and Leafgreen, and Heartgold and Soulsilver, Lance had Dragonite in Gens I, II, IV, and VII, Steven had Metagross in Ruby and Sapphire and ORAS, Cynthia had Garchomp in Diamond and Pearl, Platinum, and BDSP, Iris had Hydrerigon in Black and White 2, Diantha had Goodra in X and Y, Professor Kukui had Kommo-o in Sun and Moon and USUM, and Leon had Dragapult in Sword and Shield. Only Salamence wasn't used. I think Salamence would better fit Geeta.
Yeah for the sake of giving Salamence to a champion, I could definitely get behind that. I just felt like Dragapult fit her design the best out of all the pseudo’s. I could definitely see why you’d pick mence, especially with the champion of the last generation using dragapult.
10:38 the reason why starters arent generally used by specialists unless they have no choice is because they want the starters to be exclusive to you and your rival (and sometimes a third character too). personally i would replace skeledirge with arcanine.
Honestly I prefer starters not being exclusive to the main characters, besides legends arceus where it’s explained. It just feels weird that no one has them.
Nemona is seen with a Paldean Tauros in the game’s intro, and then she proceeds to never use one. I think it would be cool if they did something like what they did with Hop for part of SwSh, or for N in BW, where she uses different Pokémon between battles. Maybe she could even have teams that she would use depending on which Gym you’re about to face, like having some Fire and Flying Types before Katy, or Dark and Ghost Types before Ryme. Not necessarily an entire team of those types, but maybe 1 or 2.
Yeah I think the website also said she had a smoliv and Lechonk as well. From a gameplay perspective I think that be cool. The only thing that I could say would suffer is it would make her team members less distinct and memorable if she was swapping them out. Like I don’t think I could guess exactly what Hop’s final team is off the top of my head, but I could for characters like Blue, Silver, Barry, and Nemona.
Honestly the lack of level scaling reeeeaaally messed up my enjoyment of these games. I took on Tulip fourth and Grusha 5th. I had completely missed Katy and Kofu, and by that point had completed both Star Road and Path of Legends so I felt really bad whe. i showed up to fight Katy eighth and my level 70 Skeledirge came out against her baby bugs. Level scaling woulc have been a massive help. Also Geeta’s team not being a Skeledirge sweep is a good change too. I love my boy but dang that was just embarrassing.

Replace Penny's Flareon with Espeon since Espeon is a stronger eeveelution. Mela could keep Torkoal as her 1st Pokemon cuz it has Drought to set the sun. Atticus could also keep Skuntank. A psychic immunity for poison specialist is always nice. You could've gave 6th mon to squad bosses, after like 8 badges. Same goes for E4. I'll replace Katy's Spidops with Vivillon & keep Teddiursa/Ursaring on top of her having Fidough. Arven's team can stay the same, Toedscruel & Scovillian only share 1 weakness (Flying) despite both being Grass types. So either of 'em can be replaced with Dachsbun. For Geeta, oh boi, I've few team fixes for her. & with SV having some heck of a broken mons & moves, she could've things like Gholdengo or Palafin (if the Ai is smart enuf to switch right away with either Flip Turn or manual switching). Other replacements include Arboliva, Dondozo, Cetitan etc.
For scaling random trainers, it would feel too artificial to just have their levels magically change depending on how many badges you have. Instead, I think there should be a bunch of trainers of all levels spread around the map. How do you prevent the player just getting ganked by endgame NPCs? It's simple, you wear your badges. You wear your badges on your lapel. Like actual badges. Every NPC trainer would be assigned a "badge level", and would only challenge you if you were within 1 badge level of them, the lower ones would be too afraid to challenge you and to the higher ones you wouldn't be worth fighting. If you *wanted* to take a trainer on that's vastly beyond your skill level, there could be a button to hide your badges and challenge anyone. That way, you still have a full range of options, but the convenience of only getting battles that you should be able to win.

Yeah, I just try to do things in level order when I play through the game. Kinda defeats the purpose of the open world aspect.
