That was an awesome video! Ended up watching the whole thing, you have great ability in front of / with a camera. As a 987.2 Black Edition owner myself I would love to see more Boxster content :)
Thank you for the kind words, I appreciate that! Love those Black Editions - very “if you know you know” car. I’ll try to pick the camera up more often! Keep enjoying your Boxster
Thanks for sharing your trip Nathan! I couldn’t imagine going from searching for months to literally jumping on a one way flight and full sending it!! Such a great story of making it happen!
Great vid. I brought my first Porsche cayman 987 4 years ago and just recently upgraded to Boxster 981. And now my son drives the cayman. I’ve enjoyed owning both cars, great value for money in my opinion
What an adveture! And I know the feeling. I drove 700km to buy my 2015 BMW Z4 28i(43 000km) I still smile every time I see my car and the looks and cheers I get makes it worth every cent I paid for it. 👍💌🇿🇦
Love it! I highly considered a Z4, that was my second choice. Small convertibles rule on windy roads. Nothing like a road trip to get to know a car. Glad you’re enjoying yours!
So happy to see you enjoying it. I just got my first Porsche in July, a manual 996 Turbo in guards red and I seriously feel your positive emotions towards that beautiful car.
Thanks! I literally googled “vehicle inspectors Dallas” as I was on the phone with the dealer and called the guy with the highest ratings. $400 but worth it - he spent 4 hours going over every inch of the car inside/outside/underneath with Porsche specific readers. Don’t be afraid to spend extra on a good inspector
Really happy for you, mate!! I can feel your genuine excitement. I bought my first Porsche, a 981 Boxster, last October. You’re going to have a ball! 👍
I have a 2010 6-speed Boxster. Excelkent choice. You definitely did your homework. The 987.2 Boxster/Cayman are the best of all the mid-engine Porsches for many reasons. Do you have the PDK transmission? I couldn't tell from your video.
1966, attending Cal Poly in SLO, I went to Laguna Seca for my first road race and fell in love with Porsche’s. Almost 60 years and five Porsche’s later, the feeling remains the same. Looking for my sixth.
Great video ! The percentage of one-owner used Boxsters has to be incredibly low. What options were must haves on your 5 website two month search ? Thanks
Thanks! I really just wanted Midnight Blue over tan interior more than anything - I wasn't too picky on options. I wanted PDK/automatic transmission since this will be my daily driver in LA, where hills and traffic are everywhere. I was excited to find a car with Bose audio and heated seats as well. Doesn't need much beyond that! Since the video, I have swapped the 17in Base wheels for 19in S wheels, and now she's perfect.
I’d highly recommend it, many people do it for track days too. Just make sure to take it off soon after you reach your destination, leaving it on too long could potentially damage the clear coat when taking it off after sun exposure. Google has more details than me, but I left mine on for 48 hours and 1 rain storm it was fine coming off
Thank you for the journey...
Dream yr dreams come true...
Well done, my friend!
nice video! enjoy the boxster!
She’s a beauty man! Congrats on the purchase .. I love my Cayman!!
Congrats!
Great video, lovely to see such excitement. Life is way to short to drive boring cars 😊
Agreed! We spend a lot of time behind the wheel, might as well make it fun
Thanks for sharing this video! This is awesome!
Thanks Josh! Had to document it for the future. Hope all is well in your world
Congratulations, I saw the whole video from start to end and enjoyed the excitement and pleasure you have from this car 😊
Thank you! Had to share the excitement, will be fun to look back on in ten years

Thanks Nick! It all happened so fast, I’m thankful it all fell into place as it did. Can’t wait to have you ride shotgun soon enough

Love it! That's great you liked it so much you bought another. Just crossed my first 10,000mi with the car and it's been fantastic
Congrats brother! enjoy the car, looks great!

Love it, enjoy! Such great drivers cars, they make life pretty fun don’t they
@@nathanenos yes definitely, can‘t wait to drive it again 🥰
We need more videos!! This was such a treat to see your first moments with Bailey 🙌
Thanks Justin, had to document it for the future!
I did the same thing with almost the exact same car
Florida to Arkansas after buying it. was a pleasure
Amazing! Few things greater in life than a big adventure in a great car
Great model/year. Question: How did you get the inspection done? Did you know a shop you trusted?

Thank you Peter! They’re the best cars for the money, so fun to drive. Hope you get many smiles and many miles out of yours!
@@nathanenos Ditto, mate. Just subbed to keep up with your adventures.

Love it! Best drivers cars ever, hard to beat
Beautiful car mate . Nothing handles like a Boxster.
Thank you! So good in the corners
BTW, that’s the best colour combo - my favourite!
Thank you! Me too, surprisingly hard to find. It’s the only color combo I wanted - I got lucky

Beautiful boxster! how do you get plates to drive it back across multiple state lines?
Thank you! The dealer I purchased it from provided a 30-day Texas plate. And I had paperwork showing I just bought the car
interesting with the tape. Did that even do anything? Great car though. I have had my 986 for 5 years.
Thanks! Glad you’ve loved yours. Just an added layer of protection, might’ve prevented a rock chip or two
Welcome to the club! Mother Nature sponsored this video with the free car wash at the end...😎
Ha, got that right. Thank you! Had to wash away the dust and get her ready for LA
Ayyyyyyyyyyy let’s goooo
To the mooooon
The painter's tape was a great idea. Were there any negatives to using it? I may try this myself.

Good info. Thanks.@@nathanenos
Proper Jew bag with a boxster lmfao
