I just changed the tires you have to Motoz Tractionator rear and dual venture front. On pavement they corner easier, you'll find the bike cuts tight corners with less input, I like them better on pavement to my surprise. On gravel roads youll still feel the rocks and the bike move around but you know you can still control the bike as opposed to never really sure if your about to spill on the Michelins. When you're ready to swap tires try the Motoz - you wont regret it.
Thanks mate, I really appreciate the support and I'm glad your enjoying the series. I will keep pluggin away in the editing room for ya. 😁 lots more to come.👍
@advseeker, I did start to really enjoy them once I started forcing myself to do proper technique. It's good sometimes when your forced to adapt. 😁 I did TET section 01 from helsinki to Nemes in the last 4 videos. cheers for watching mate.👍👍👍
It is quite common to have smaller roads going through someone's yard, aa their inany places based on old cart tracks, which mean the property has a road easement (tierasite). Most of the forest roads are on privet property, again if it is a through way there's probably a road easement, so no worries to ride on them, as long as you slow down near building an look out for residents and theri cats and dogs that might be wondering about.
Yeah it's a very good idea to slow down near buildings, like you said cats and dogs could be nearby, and also don't want to piss off the homeowners so that they don't lobby to shut down the trails that we ride. cheers for the info mate, makes me feel at ease about riding through those places.
@@BavarianBloodhound1 i am living on such a road, they often go right through a farm.... the field my horses use are on the other side..... cats, dogs, chicken, sheep children and horses sometrimes cross that road unsupervised. I am very fortunate that google does not know this road is connected through to a differen village - therefore the traffic here is usually local. To an extend that if i see a car i dont know, i am thinking about calling the cops :)
I live in a little hamlet where there is no through road so when a strange car appears all the neighbours stand at their windows going, Who the f#%k is this. 😂😂😂 so I know how you feel about cars you don't know.
Closed for cleaning means they were never available to begin with - pisses me off when hotels advertise these facilities then skimp on the running of them
bloody hell, your right. 😬 that was something I did not intend to do. I probably did not see the sign because I was talking, but that is no excuse. I will try to be better next time. cheers for watching to the end 👍
I must say, I’m not trying to. Are there places listed somewhere that I have missed? I don’t see them marked on the map. Or are you referring to my hotel stays?😂😂
michelin anakee adventure, I think its like 85% road and 15% offroad so we can call them road tires. 😂 actually they have performed quite well on this trip. Talking to some other bikers having dirt tires on their adventure bike doing the same trip they were getting about 2000km out of the rear before changing them. I think the finnish TET requires a good 50/50 tire, durable but playfull. my tires will change very soon tho. 😉
@@BavarianBloodhound1 cool man thanks for the reply and explanation. I agree 50/50 tiers is exactly what this bike needs for all kind of rides. Not just the TET, but like you said I also enjoy off-road but nothing too extreme. Straight open dirt packed roads and gravel roads with occasional single track which turns a bit more difficult is just what I enjoy riding. Open tarmac roads also. So which tiers are you thinking of buying next, what’s your plan and recommendations?
plans are not set in stone but hopefully there is a lot more to come on the channel 😉. as for tyres @zoolkhan 😂 ( you caught me using american english) 🫠 I've heard that the karoo 4s are about the best for this bike but don't last long. I've had the mitas e-07s on an older bike and I thought they performed very well in pretty much all terrains and were quite long lasting. but I still don't know exactly what I will get yet. we will see which way the wind blows on that particular day. 🤗
@@BavarianBloodhound1 yes Karoo 4 are certainly tremendous tiers but not as good on tarmac as on gravel tracks I have heard. So they are 50/50 should be good enough on tarmac as well. I haven’t tried them so I don’t know for sure, maybe someone can share experiences about Karoo 4. German tier Hiedenau Scout is supposedly great, might try them also.
I gave that a go once.😁 here is the video link if you feel like watching. [BMW R 1300 GS] MIDNIGHT RIDE, Midsummers day motorcycle travel vlog. Europe, Estonia. th-cam.com/video/R8MafGDbHHk/w-d-xo.html

Great tracks. Keep riding safe.

👍 cheers mate, will do.

Thanks for the support mate. 👍
Looks loads of fun.

Next time around you should try sleeping in hammock, I've slept 1 week in hammock at scout camp and the nights were really good

Don’t get it mate you don’t have off-road tiers. Normal street tiers, like a 100% or hybrids?
