I put cutaway and tear away in the hoop. I then spray the temporary adhesive on the cutaway in the hoop. I then stick the t-shirt to that. Smooth it out. And put the hoop with t-shirt affixed to stabilizars on the machine and embroider it. This way the t-shirt won’t have stretch or hoop marks:) I use Embtech spray adhesive but there are several brands. Just make sure it’s temporary.

That's great! Thank you for your comment. Personally, I don't use spray adhesive as I find it gums up the needles and the glue can work it's way into the machine.

So-true re polyester thread - all looks great, 3 hours later the polyester has 'twanged-back' after stretching during embroidery and the amount of puckering makes you scream.... The it's the compromise between tension (upper) and underlay amount/type.....

    Starching
I tend to starch cotton I am embroidering onto for framing, as I find that helps keep the cotton stable.

Love your videos just subscribed! Could you please make a short intro video on digital embroidery software, which one to use. Just wondering if you can buy the software straight off or can you pay monthly? Just a little confused on which software pack to buy for the software I want to start a small business and want to digitalise my drawings ☺️ Thank you!

Great video & lots of tips. Did you do a video about stabilisers as I think that would be very helpful.

No show poly mesh is better on t shirts as it doesn't give a shadow

What do you think about Filmoplast? A friend of mne used 2 layers of it on a Tshirt with no puckers, even after washing. Not sure how dense the Design was, though.
