I have gone from 4x4 inch to 5x7 inch plus digitizing for myself. Digitizing is so much fun! I haven't put any designs up for sale yet. Fear of rejection, I guess. It's my only hope for getting the bigger hoop and more needles I yearn for.

My question is what type of felt do you use on your patches when you're not using these methods? I like stiffened felt, however, I haven't found it in yardage. Only sheets and that's kind of costly. Do I need to use stiff felt or can I use regular felt that is just a little thicker?
