Gotta say, my favorite part of your videos are the context wristshots from a little far away. Just makes you look at the real personality of the watch.
Some of the best macro video I have seen of the SARX055, well done. May I suggest however, if you are going to all the trouble of filming such detailed macro - why not clean the watch beforehand? There was so much dust and hair on the watch that detracted from the 'clean' look of the video. I own this watch myself, and I guess Seiko quality control is the issue with those imperfections on the hour markers, because mine look nowhere near as bad as those shown here.
daec34 you’ve no idea how much time I spend in cleaning the watch. At the macro level I got to, it’s virtually impossible to not see dust. Many times, I’m shooting clip and a small particle from air falls on the crystal during the clip being taken. Not that I live in duty environment but at this macro, I really spent hours and hours shooting these clips, after cleaning and blowing first off the watch. Thanks for feedback. I’ll try to make it better.
Is it because of Titanium polish or becuse of Snowflake Ice white dial or what but this watch shimmers with beauty !!! Thank you for sharing it with us !
So I just received my watch today. And it is stunning. The pictures do not do it justice. The pics make the dial look really wide. But it fits my wrist really nicely. It's such a beautiful watch. It looks very shiny and luxurious, but also looks casual. The only thing is, I just adjusted the bracelet. I removed the pins and put them back in after removing some links. But I noticed that the pins feel really loose. I am worried they will fall out. Is this normal?
Dear Hafiz, I adore the way how you present and explain about the watch . It's very professional and well prepared video . This particular watch I want to get basically because of the way how you presented on the video . Best regards from polish fun living in Dubai . Take care
Really great video! It really brings out the best of the Baby Snowflake. Love how your voice is in sync with the background music. You should remake/feature the GS Snowflake with this style of presentation as well, it'll be really cool.
Thanks so much for the feedback and especially noticing the voice synchronised with music. I spend a lot of time with overall video production so really happy to know when someone’s notices it :) I’m definitely trying to get hold of snowflake too :)
Great review, great watch. However, I prefer Seiko SJE073, which is 99% similar in design, except it's zeratsu polished and has overall better finish and has much better movement. Check that watch out.
I think aesthetically it's a good choice in this price segment. But regarding its dial, I would rather describe as washi-like; and its minute hand is significantly short, which is a shame. The SJE073 would be a good upgrade if the Snowflake is far out of budget.
@leicanoct hmm I don't understand your logic, but each his own. So if I want to buy a 5-10k watch, I should take it out my paycheck or do I invest the saved money each month and end up buying multiple watches 🤔
I saved for each watch I own today. But I think what the point maybe is once you have a collection, you can move one piece to fund other, so biggest saving applies at the start of collection. My problem is now becoming that I don’t want to sell what I own because I love them. And then I still have to save for next one. 🤯
@@HafizJMehmood hehehe I totally get your problem, I have the same thing, I have 7 main pieces and the others were supposed to be to sell and then upgrade each on in these 7 pieces. However I ended up with having 31 watches now, trying to thin out one of them is trying to separate with one of the kids 😂😂
@leicanoct yeah, I get weak infront of vintage watches. I did wait at least 6-8 month before I bought each of my bigger pieces, but still hard to control when there are so many beautiful watches out there. My last purchase was the Explorer II 16570, and my next purchase is either Lange Saxonia or a Moser Endavour.
Beautiful. If only they remove the PRESAGE from the dial like in my SPB039 this watch would be perfect and I'd buy it without hesitation. Unfortunately almost all presage series I've seen now have PRESAGE on their dials. NB : accuracy of my 6R15D is +7-8 seconds/day. I've owned it for 6 months now and worn it almost every day.

Very good review and narration. New subscriber here. However, I still can't decide between this, and the sarx035, which has a beautiful contrast of silver hands to the black dial. But I love the dial of the 055 too although you need to look a bit close. The only thing I didn't like much here is the blue seconds hand. Wish it was silver also. 😂
I'll tell you what's better: SJE073 (price aside ofc), the same exact watch but better in every way imaginable, a watch that I would have already bought if it wasn't for those hands... I would easily pay $200 more if it had Grand Seiko hands damn it! I cri. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH... Fantastic macros btw...

It is not the best seiko. Seiko has many better watches like the SLA line. Some even have spring drive movement in it. Therefore your title is misleading
Enjoyed your review, as always ☺️👍 I find this watch a beautiful time piece. Unfortunately, there are two major deal breakers for me - poor, low beat movement and hideous, cheaply made second hand 😬 At this price point 3 Hz movement is a joke. I can't get over stuttering second hand on any watch. And there is that poorly painted blue second hand. What an ugly thing to look at. It reminds my of Orient's watches for 1/5 of this Seiko's price. Clunky movement of said hand just adds up to cheap feel of it. Such a shame as the rest is stunning. Cheers!
I really don't get the snobbery around the 3Hz movement. Remember most Omega coaxials are only 3.5Hz. And besides, the 6R is still a solid movement. It's as accurate as many Swiss movements, it's well finished and has a solid power reserve. I bought one about 6 months ago and wear it more than any other watch I own
@@seanoconnor8135 It is not a snobbery. A simple preference. I don't like the stuttering movement of the second hand. It looks bad and cheap. And is. I prefer smoother 4Hz.
