Ok I’ve learned two things from this: 1. The Valkyrie really needs to go back to the engineering teams for a crash viability assessment 2. The defender seems to get updated with new parts each series to make it look more and more tanky
These series are one day gonna end up has a some sort of sitcoms that just starts every episode with a ship crashing on a new planet with Jack just not caring at all and I’m ready for it

I just finished watching the Colony series from beggining to the end and the story developement in Colony Lost sparked a lot of questions about the GDA and I hope they will get answered in this new series and the continuation of Colony Alliances, especially what the 'Artifact' is and why it was so important to the GDA.
I have high hopes for this series, especially with having a smaller crew. Although it seems off without Mr. Castle"s glorious commentary and antics ! Thank you all for your hard work, safe journey
With how much Admiral Jack gets into these situations I am surprised RWI doesn't send a small battle fleet to protect him! XD Can't wait to binge this new series
y'know, with how many times this man has gotten, betrayed, crashed, or something goes wrong when he's there, you have to wonder who would even try to betray him considering how much of a legend he is (same with the man behind him :3)
As long as we don't have a repeat story and all new craz and bash moments I'm happy plus new designs of are favorite fleet Edit now that I know we don't have castle to yell at craz or bash and their not there too I do like the new cast

I have a question, does the crew take bets on what planet they're about to crash on next once Jack steps on board the ship? Hoping that was slightly humorous, keep up the great work, I enjoyed watching your videos for years now.
Your comment on the gas giant makes me think how sick it would be if they add gas giants to 2 where you can use gas collecters to gain hydrogen so you can make floating bases in the clouds of the planet.
I mean if you use ai drones to get materials such as ice and others to hydrogen you can float around using the thrusters (idk how automation works tho or if it’s even out)
i wonder if there will be any repercussions for taking down the serenity i assume since it was a diplomatic mission and the response was to attack the diplomats that it would likely break out in a large scale war at least that’s how it would work in a real life scenario but we are not focusing on that bit we are focused on the survival of jack on this hostile planet
I'm getting halo reach vibes from the beginning scene of the transport shuttle getting chased remind me of the the being cut scene of the mission Piller of autumn
I have yet to see infantrymen who are most likely versed in making point bases and attack vehicles to drop in with Jack. Most of these survivors are uh... I dunno what to call them as an insult as usual in the military. Like the Marines embracing being called the “gyrenes,” “jarheads,” and “grunts.”
Why does it feel like RWI uses jack like a canary in a coal mine? They send him to a location to see if he gets attacked and forced to crash on a planet. If he is they know shits going down there.

Meanwhile it literally falls apart each time a Defender is attaked
Well yeah most of the time it does get a bit damaged but it is not destroyed which is good
Issue with the valkirys is that they are terrible at slowing down
