Thank you for your kind words, The debit balance (which means expenses are more than revenue) of profit and loss account shows loss,The thing to remember is that if we have capital reserve then we will deduct the balance from capital reserve on the liabilities side of the balance sheet and if there is no capital reserve only then the profit and loss account debit balance will show on the asset side as fictitious asset because business usually doesn't set of all the losses in the same accounting year when they occur so it becomes expenses and losses which doesn't set off in the same accounting period which is fictitious asset.
