  • squier jazzmaster classic vibe 60's (Setup tips and recommendations)
This guitar has a good price around $350 during sales season.
However this made in indonesia squier need overhaul in setup.
Neck overall is good but frets are very rough
Definitely need polish and smoothen the edges
Intonation (all guitar eventually need this)
Lubricant on any metal parts that engage with strings.
Buff the nut slot its sharp at
    the corner.
Shim for best angle. I use 0.50 degree. Every guitar will have different parameters
String heights, Pickup, neck relief are definitely required.
    After all those above done.
It plays like butter. Passionate Guitar Enthusiast with a lifelong love for the instrument. Could be better if you do a full demonstrative video on how you did the setup. I have the same Jazzmaster and when you bend upon the 15th and 17th fret it chokes. Any suggestion?

Put more relief on your neck, search how to adjust truss rod. Turn counter clockwise just a little 1/4 turn, check ur strings height as well. Lastly when none of the steps successful then frets need leveling (this one better let proffesional guitar tech do it)

If you know how to setup guitar, or have good guitar tech nearby, expect spend another $100-150 for fret polishing and dressing, and all basic setup. Then squier Classic vibe is very good instrument in their price.

Maybe less expensive chords and scale-salad, more how to?
