Oh my. That is so precious. Happy to have you here.
Aww that’s wonderful and positive way to remember her. I am sincerely sorry for your loss! I recently found this Chanel and have learned so very much!
Im so sorry for your loss. This comment made me cry.
What a beautiful way to remember her ❤

Isn’t it funny that here we are all us people from all across the globe & from all walks of life watching Becky clean & organise her pantry, the things that bring people together is amazing. Thank you Becky ❤️🇬🇧
This is a weird comment... Forgive me... But your positivity,, and your comments, helped me greatly with my depression.😊
Not weird at all - Becky will be glad that you enjoy her videos!
I don’t think that’s weird, Becky is one of the most positive people I’ve ever watched. I agree that Becky will be happy to hear she had a positive influence.
Not weird at all. I’m in the same boat. She always brings joy to my life, I’m with you.❤️
Not weird at all!
Me too!! Love her!!
Hi Becky, I read somewhere awhile back about a person that did canning for their family. If she had unused jars she cleaned them and stored drinking water in them. As she used her canned jars of food, she would wash the jars and again store drinking water in them. Turned out, she actually needed them and she had enough to share. So neat !! 😊😊😊
I always add jars of drinking water to the pressure canner if I don't have a full load. Considering that my street gets dug up at least once a year for water issues, we are never short of water for drinking or cooking. I also keep jugs handy for washing/flushing if the street repairs take long enough that we need them!
Even if you don't do any canning methods on it just store the jar of water its still very useful. I heard an older lady used the water in the jar to make the water for the water bath or the steam.
She also said, there is alwasy a way to heat and boil water, so if the water needs to be used as drinking water she just boils it and use it.
I love how Becky talks to us like we are actually helping her. I get such joy from her channel.
That’s weird..
I do too, I can be doing stuff in the kitchen with her. LOL
@@DemiLoveNailArtIt might be weird to you, but obviously not to everyone😊
100% I'd put the apple butter with the jam. I'd also include the tomato soup with the "meals in jar" together in one spot. I tend to organize by function, not by base ingredients. In the case of your tomato products, it seems there's a lot of overlap, most are sauces which you are treated as an ingredient to a larger meal, so it fits in both frameworks to keep them together. But you can also do a mixed-type of organization, where say you keep all of the apple products in one spot, then have the apple butter grouped together as a kind of "intermediary" product, and then all the jams on the other side of the apple butter. That way, the apple butter is sort of near both, it acts as a kind of stepping stone between product types, by having something in common with both categories.
I can SEE the decision fatigue on your face from the very beginning. Personally, I LOVE organizing, especially categorizing. I find something very zen in it. But as a tip on how to relax about it:
1) if you got an idea, just try it. Don't worry if it's the wrong decision, you can fix it later. Sure it's more work, but sometimes you need to see it first in the wrong place in order to have the clever idea about where you DO want it to go. It's an exploration process. Approach it with curiosity, and you'll hopefully find it less stressful.
2) if you DON'T have an idea, just make individual piles away from their final place, of each thing that's EXACTLY the same. Slowly, those piles will start to come together, you'll find similarities between groups, like you did with all the tomato products.
BTW I wanna say I absolutely LOVE your basement food storage. It's aspirational. I've been dreaming of exactly a video showing how you organize that basement space (shelves & freezers) so I can show my mom what I aspire to with my food storage.
I think about how things are located in the store. That helps me.
I came to say exactly this 😊 Now I don’t have to. Just leaving a comment for the algorithm boost. Greetings to all you lovely people watching and reading comments 💕
I so needed this advise! Screenshot! Lol
I had these same shelves and the slight dampness in my basement caused the shelves to sag just as yours have done. We replaced the particle board with half inch plywood and it was a great improvement. Absolutely no sagging after several years.
Yes. I came to the comment almost the exact same. They should swap the shelving inserts with real plywood before it becomes a problem.
Suggestions: blackboard markers to label each shelf; a spread sheet of the inventory and tick off as you go OR get a large whiteboard and list the items, updating as you go
I think that's a great idea. Labeling will help keep track. And Josh could easily run down and find something easily!! A good label maker is needed!!
I never remember to take the stuff that I use off my inventory list. A white board beside my shelves to write down what I am grabbing to use might help me keep track.
Also, a rolling table. complete game changer. maybe she can find a cheap one on marketplace. i love my rolling furniture 😂 😂 I also keep a black sharpie and scissors' in my pantry.
I get chalkboard stickers and blackboard markers and use those to label my shelves/ baskets they come off easily too
I was going to say a spreadsheet is exactly what she needs. She could easily pull it up on her phone or tablet from anywhere, update it, track inventory, create formulas showing old items/low items needing replaced, etc. I can think of more ideas for the spreadsheet and why it would be extremely useful.
Wow Becky, you should be so incredibly proud of making all those jars and for making them look so beautifully organized!!!
I personally would put the tomato soup with the meals in a jar, the apple butter with the jams and jellies and the ketchup with other condiments . You always have everything looking so good.
Yes! That’s exactly how it would be in a grocery store. Logical.
I was going to suggest the same. Where would this be in the grocery store? Then put it there - ketchup in condiments, etc.
I agree, grocery store style
Tetris, pantry stlye! 😂😂😂
This. My fruit butters are with my jams and jellies. Tomato soup would go with meals in jars and ketchup with the condiments. Definitely agree with another comment I saw that said to not be ashamed if you need to reorganize down the line.
I am 68 and watching u gives me so much energy n I do things I haven't done in a long time. Ur amazing
I would keep all the "meals in a jar" including tomato soup in one area. That way you can keep an eye on what you are using the most to prep for next year plus you won't overlook the tomato soup like you might if it's with all the tomato jars.
I came to say this too
I was thinking the same 😊
I agree.
Yes...and ketchup with condiments...but that's my way to classify food ...it depends on how everyone makes its own food mindmapping
Exactly what I was going to say and for the same reasoning. Likewise, I'd put the apple butter with the jams/jellies, which is where you most likely would look if you're looking for a jam purposed type item.
Something you should consider is freeze drying your bone broth. You could still store it in jars, but there is a tremendous reduction in volume and weight. You can also vary the intensity of the broth based on what you're using it for. I've been doing this for a couple of years and love it.
This is one of the things I want a freeze dryer for. I make so many jars of broth and have limited storage space.
I was intrigued by your method of organizing your pantry. This summer was my "initiation" into the world of food preservation. I worked for Kroger for 10 years and as a consultant for another 4 years after I changed companies. It made sense to me when I was canning to organize my pantry (small, though it is) like I shop. If you shop at Kroger (or whatever grocers you do), you'll quickly learn how items are organized and why. All canned vegetables are together by "like" and brand. All meat products are together. Tomato products are the salt in the rub because you'll find your tomato sauces, diced tomatoes, and pastes are NOT where you will see the pasta sauces. Generally you condiment sauces are together and your meal-kits/meals-in-a-jar are separate. I knew ahead of time, before I started preservation and was creating my pantry space that I would follow this method of thought. I'm one of 3 adult cooks in my family. My husband and daughter are both phenomenal cooks and my goal was to make our canning pantry easy enough to "shop" what they may need for a meal without the constant "honey/mom, where did you put the______?!?!" Everyone knows my life motto is "Move Something," and I'm sure they get tired of hearing it as much as I get tired of repeating it!! So before I started I explained to everyone who cooks and those who helped this season how I was going to do this. I can't begin to tell you how much this has helped me not only in preserving our harvest but in knowing exactly what I have and where it is. The farm we live on has a 50 year old home that was a homestead of the original owners. The family built a quad garage in the lower level (never heard of that before) and there is a harvest/food pantry that is climate controlled off the back of the garage. This area is 12x30. It also has built-in shelving. While we did not need it for this season, our winter project is to eliminate a majorty of the items we are storing in there and create a means of using it for next years harvest. I intend to use the same organizing method I learned at Kroger in this pantry, as well. I have loved watching you along with many other's videos on pantry organizing and tours. No matter what I think I may do I'm always willing and love learning from those who have done it longer, and the "why's." This is probably going to be one I watch several times for sure!! ❤❤
My "new" house has a tiny bedroom that previous owners turned into a laundry. I added shelving units in there. Now all my canning, all food storage, all paper, all cleaning, all medicines are in there. It's just a few steps away from my kitchen and is so convenient to grab things as I'm cooking, vs stashed in 4 different places like I had before!
We organize then reorganize. It's an ongoing process for sure. Great job Becky. ❤
That looks brilliant Becky! To keep your wine in decent nick you really need a wine rack so you can keep them on their sides - When stored upright, the cork is only exposed to air, which means that it's likely to dry out over time. Wines that are placed on their side, on the other hand, means that the wine is in contact with the cork, helping to keep it moist. That's not a worry if you buy and drink fairly quickly, but if you're buying decent vineyard wine and keeping for maybe a year, a wee wine rack would be good. Doesn't need to be at all fancy.
I was thinking the same while watching Wish I had Becky’s energy
Storing away from a window with sunshine may help also. I want her energy!!
I would put it as you would use it. When you think of jam or jelly... you go to jams and jelly s not apple area, and jam with all the jam. Together.
I'm sure she could find an inexpensive one, it would certainly be better for the wine and help storage space.
It’s mind blowing how much you accomplish. The pantry is a true labor of love and it looks fantastic. 🥰. Because of you I learned to can this summer.
Better alternative to that bottled dressing: Place in crockpot: chicken, add 1/3 cup water, sprinkle one packet dry Italian dressing mix, one can cream of chicken soup and place brick of cream cheese. Set on low for 8 or less hours. Shred chicken when done and add cooked noodles (same as you did with this recipe). This has a fantastic flavor without the tart vinegar of the liquid dressing. *if chicken mixture is too thick - add some of the pasta water. Serve with a sprinkle of parm or romano cheese.
Yummy 🤤😋☺️!
Yep that's the way I make it too. The only difference is I use chicken broth instead of water. It's one of my family's favorites.
Any suggestion to replace the packet of Italian dressing mix? Something more « from scratch » ?
@@CGareau basil, oregano, parsley, thyme, black pepper, dried onion, finely chopped bell pepper and garlic. All of this combined would taste great for a substitute.
Hi Becky, just a suggestion for your jar storage... I also store my jars upside down, but put a ring on each jar. Keeps the rims from a possible chip, and also gets the rings organized a bit, too! Great job on the organization!!
I just wrote an angry comment about how this wasn't safe for food storage....then I realized you meant your empty jars, lol!
@@cynthiafisher9907 I put mine on loosely. I've never had a problem.😊
Omgosh who else had a heart attack everytime Becky moved a whole stack of jars from one place along the shelf. Everytime I could just see one crashing off the front of the shelf...agh!.😮😢❤
Love organization videos that show the process of deciding how to organize not just coming in with a plan. I would love to see how much you end up using of the canned items at the end of the year. Maybe next year keep a spreadsheet of how much you put away in preservation season as you go then doing an inventory before you restart the garden would help keep you from having too much of any one thing? I love that you constantly reevaluate and adjust. I work best that way too. Experience is the best teacher sometimes I guess.
I think you should organize your shelves like you were in a grocery store . Makes it easy with something you are used to and already know. 😉
So I saw on a food saver sight recently, that when you have extra jars, fill them with water, then you have water storage for if/when something happens and you don't have water available, instead of buying bottles of water......this person actually used their water during the 2021 snowstorm in Texas when the power was out for weeks, and they were able to share it with family and neighbors as well.... just a thought for those empty jars.😊
Thank you for sharing, you are so amazing, your food storage blows my mind!!❤❤
Great job Becky. What an accomplishment
I love perfectionists. Everything in its perfect spot. Beautiful!
I've had the most awful week and this is the perfect remedy to that. A whole hour with Becky to relieve my stress, worry and anxiety.. Thank you Thank You Thank You!!
I’m sorry for your stress!
Thank you@@BonnieJoan 🙏
Becky, I store my clean jars with used lids (marked “used”) and rings so that they stay clean inside. Great use of used lids.
Looking at your pantry makes me nervous from one point of view. I believe if you live in Southern Washington or Oregon you're on our lovely fault line. I hope your shelves are achored to the walls and I believe you can get some kind of retaining system in front of your jars. If we get the "big one" you'll be happy most of your pantry survived. You might also consider if you don't have the time is to get someone to take inventory for you and get it on a spreadsheet. I'm sure there are some easy systems so when you use a jar you know what you have. If you don't have the time it would be a great part time project for someone who wants some extra cash.
I have a smallish kitchen and tiny pantry in it, I also have a ton of cookware because I like to have the right tools for the job and enough of them that I’m not constantly washing dishes. As a result I have defaulted to most food being in the basement storage pantry. Only things that are open and being used are kept in the kitchen. I keep a grocery bag in the basement and shop the basement once a day for the things I need for the day. I know what I have better this way. My freezer and refrigerator space is managed similarly with the kitchen reserved for open items that are being used and the rest stored in the garage freezer and refrigerator.
Great job organizing Becky. The basement looks great now.
How timely, Becky. I’ve been wanting to pull all my canned goods out of the cabinet and reorganize because I know I have some older meat I haven’t used but I’m out of other kinds. Your authenticity was so encouraging because your exact thought process is what has been making me avoid the task. This coming weekend, I have no appts out of the house (my mom and husband both have dementia so it keeps me busy) knowing I have extra time if needed this week is motivating me to tackle this huge mental task.
Thank you so much - for the way you share so openly- you cannot imagine how much it helps💝
I did this and love it. To keep baskets off of valuable shelve space, hang a strong chain from the ceiling and use S hooks. I love baskets to store onions and garlic and I can easily carry them. I love everything you do. I'm just getting started and you're a huge inspiration. 🥰Love from Nevada.
Becky and Josh. I have to say that you both have incerable awesome parents that taught you both very well. You and Josh have one of the best parents ever in the world. You both have the greatest role models to look up to. When you both are around your parents on both sides of the family. Becky and Josh you are and forever will be the greatest parents the little Acer will look up to forever. He's truly blessed having you guys in his little life. I wish nothing but the best for you 3. God bless you all and take really good care of yourselves.
What a great project finished!!! Good work. I think I would personally put 1) Tomato Soup with other soups and ready made meals, 2) Apple Butter with the jam 3) Ketchup with condiments (Because if you are down there looking for something for "jam" or a soup. Thats where it makes sense to store it. ;). You mentioned peppers in a little can. I don't remember you canning them... I'd love to hear more about them and see them. I buy green chilies all the time in a little can. I'd love to see more on how to do this
Your outlook on just daily tasks and like in general is so beautiful. I’m genuinely in love with your positive personality. God bless you ❤
I would divide my jars into ingredients and finished products. So, meals in a jar (including soups) together, all the jellies, jams and butters in one place, -Funny thing is-this is EXACTLY what I was working on today. We had to rebuild a home after our house burned down last spring and my new (much smaller) space is testing my creativity and organizational abilities! Good job!
WOW!! Amazing day, thats such a BEAUTIFUL home, pantry, garden
Becky you have done a FANTASTIC job with EVERYTHING you have touched
Suggestion for the floor and shelves to aid in cleaning. Paint them. Use an epoxy paint on floor and washable acrylic on shelves. It makes cleaning so much easier. Unfinished floors will produce dust on their own. My office was such a set up. Just painting the shelves and floors made it so much easier to keep clean.
"The canning jar shuffle," as I call it. My husband will find me in the basement, just staring at the pantry shelves, trying to plan my layout. Lol. Apple butter goes with the jam and jelly in our house. Applesauce goes with canned fruit. Sometimes it just comes down to what looks nicest. All soups next to each other makes sense but green beans between two soups breaks up the look and makes each recipe more separate (as some look so silimar). Thanks for keeping me company in the kitchen as I bake Christmas cookies.
I don't think I have ever caught a video so soon after posting. My day just keeps getting better! Start of a great weekend. Best wishes and happy viewing, all. Thanks Becky for the inspiration!
I totally get the bandwidth/brain-power talk! It takes A LOT of thinking & rethinking to try and get it right the first time you organize something as big as your pantry! KUDOS to a job well done & I too, am so happy with you finishing of these projects! ❤ You are so refreshing & real! I just love your channel so much! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Keep up the great work! And the garden looks GREAT all tucked in!
Becky! I recently purchased a presto digital canner and will be trying it out tomorrow! I’m so excited to finally dip my toes into pressure canning. It’s all thanks to you friend!! So thank you for being you :)
You'll love the ease! I bought one because of Becky too.
I got myself one for Xmas last year and LOVE ❤️ IT! Enjoy!
Me too, I've taken over my hubby's garage cabinets as I have run out of pantry storage room inside.
I bought one at the end of last year and, unfortunately, every time I tried to use it, it failed. Same code every time. I contacted Presto and they sent new gaskets and frame. I replaced those items and canned water, which did work after 2 attempts. Then, with high hopes, I canned chicken broth. The darn thing failed at the last 2 minutes... same code. So very frustrating! I immediately got in touch with Presto and they asked me to send the whole thing to them, which I did a month ago. I've not heard from them yet.
I first thought I was the problem but after so many attempts (and I followed the instructions to the letter!), I think I got a lemon. 🥺
I did the same thing and I love it!!
I love watching you. I live in Queensland, Australia. When I have my dark days, I watch you. The positivity you bring is very helpful.
You inspired me to prep freezer onions this week and make some homemade pumpkin scones. A drop in the bucket compared to your amazing enthusiasm but thought you should know how inspiring you are! Thank you!
To be honest, I organize it by year. That way I know what I have canned previously and what I need. I can also track abundant years. I keep a hanging inventory card/book for each year attached to each shelf segment.
Oh my gosh. This has got to make you feel so good to have this so organized! Plus, it looks great! Awesome job!
A cool way to store glass jars are to fill them up with fresh water.
And you'll have emergency water! Takes the same amount of space!
Becky, a tip a prepper friend taught me was not to store empty jars. She cans water, and then you have extra water in case of an emergency.
Dear Becky - I just love an organised pantry, it makes kitchen work so much easier, brilliant job very well done. In my store I have all my canning jars, lids, vinegar, lemon juice etc in one location, makes for easy use.
My mom cooked this recipe in a crockpot when I was growing up in the 70's. My sister never cared for it so she changed the Italian dressing for Vidalia Onion and it was unreal!!! She also adds diced onion and mushrooms which put it over the top! I recognized that face (as my sisters) the second I saw it, lol!!!! Bon Appétit!
DAMN ! Your shelf boards look like they are caving in quite a bit. You should consider buying some thicker n stronger wood to place over the existing boards or replace them all together. Great Just Becky ! 💪
I’m so nervous watching you move all your jars!! I will cry with you if you drop one and waste all that effort and love ❤️
Always so excited when you upload new videos, thank you for sharing your journey.
A job well done Becky! I loved seeing your onions hanging from the post!
Looks great Becky!!! It always feels good to get things organized & clean! Now that you have organized it the way that works for you, go take pictures.(One less brain bandwith to keep up with) That way you can just check your pictures and don't have to run down all the time. Plus, pantries are living things that change with use so take pictures like once a week. It could help in organizing your restock orders too. Looks beautiful!!
My favorite part of my day is "spending time" with you!❤
I vote for the tomato soup to live on the shelf with other soups. Thanks for letting us help with this project without getting off the sofa!
You did a great job organizing that. I love it! I so enjoy your videos. I am so glad my mom told me about your channel near the beginning of your journey. I live vicariously though your videos.
I’d put the tomato soup with the other soups & meals in a jar. Ready to eat in one place for easy access. If it’s in with the other tomato products you won’t use it as often or remember you have it. And keep the apple butter with the jams and jelly’s. IMO 😊
I never would have believed that I could so enjoy watching someone dust & mop but you, Becky, make every task so enjoyable & interesting. Thanks for being you. I hope you had a luxurious shower & a long sleep as you looked so tired at the end of the video. Cheers.
Becky, I saw a video where a lady stored all her clean jars filled with tap water and capped. The jars stayed clean, and she had a supply of "bottled water" she didn't have to buy. She was prepared for an emergency such as a wster well pump going out, or a storm which strands you at home in the winter(or hurricanes, etc). I thought it was genius. Plus the jars also looked better filled with water. The wine will last longer stored on its side so the cork won't dry out and will remain sealed properly.
Awesome job on the pantry Becky! Have you thought about putting non permanent labels on the front of your shelves? I love your pantry! Everything you do is an inspiration!
Magnetic-backed chalkboard-style labels could be so cute on the front of the shelves.
Young lady, you are so full of energy! I love all of your videos and they really ignite my canning and cooking juices! Thanks so much for sharing your world!
Hi Becky, I have little Magnet signs on the shelves so my partner will know where to find things as well because it can be difficult if you are not the person who organized everything. It might also help you remember that you have sth. stored in a box or use see through boxes (e.g. from Ikea). I'm not yet decided - i like seeing whats in them but it also means it dorsn't look as tidy
I was going to suggest the same! Magnet labels will be easy to move around if you need to, and will be so easy to personalize. That way, you don't have to hold all the names in your brain. You can let the signs refresh your memory and help you use your products better!
i love becky’s little song that she hums while organizing🥹
I love how you organize everything! 😊❤
My thought- condiments, fruits, tomatoes (not tomato soup), jellies (jams, marmalades, etc.), soups (incl stews and broths). I do love to see how everyone thinks and I see how it works for you. Love it!
Think about using Bulldog Clips with easily moveable (they’re magnetic) labels that you can move, replace, store when not in use, etc. so you don’t have to read jar lids while searching, just to confirm you have the right ones in hand.
Also, suggest that Josh leave small aisles between clusters of jars for walking around next time he graciously transports them to the area for you.
You need to put your jars on floor leaving walking 😊/ standing space
Yeah I came to the comments to suggest labelling the shelves.
And, as the ultimate hater of all things household chore, thank you for giving me something to listen to while I actually work on cleaning my own kitchen. You have a wonderful screen presence that is just natural and regular and not too crunchy for those of us who struggle.
With your inspiration and the fact that my eldest daughter moved out I have finally set up my own grocery store. Thank you for all the work you do . And I would definitely move the Tomato soups to your meals in a jar .God bless
I personally don't like tomato soup on its own.
So I use it in other cooking .
I'm team tomato soup with other tomato things.😂❤
@@libbywilson3064 most people just make a grilled cheese to go with it. But to each their own
With the jam!!! Keep it with like used items. ❤ your channel and the inspiration you give everyone. You are amazing!!
Hi, been checking for you all evening, so happy now ❤
Becky - I just love that you aren so transparent with where and how you struggle through the organizing process. Organization is so PERSONAL and you do a great job of knowing yourself and being willing to redo until you get it right. 😍
For me, I tend to organize things in the way that I use them because on bad brain days, I wander into my pantry looking for meals-in-a-jar type things, and other days, I’m shopping for “ingredients” to make things, or baking projects. So, at my house, soup is a meal and I don’t normally cook with it as an ingredient, jams and apple butters are similarly condiments and I only use them as an ingredient for baking,m but I know that they “live” with the condiments because that’s their primary job.
I hope that helps and take comfort in the fact that at the very least, I helped the algorithm by commenting and watched a couple of ads while I did so to help you get paid a bit 😂
Anything for my favorite bestie kitchen companion 😂🥰
Hi Becky, just an idea. Maybe get a standing wine rack you can place next to a shelf? Love your videos, always inspiring. ❤️
What an amazing pantry! Those jars represent your dream of having your homestead and gardens and now they look beautiful an this winter will be so great to use and take pride in such a huge accomplishment!
Something that helps me get organized is to set up a foldable table so I have another place to get cans organized on. It keeps you from having to place jars in an out of boxes and bags. If you have 2 tables, even better! It gives me a better visual on how much of what product I have and how much room is needed on each shelf. It’s definitely a time saver. Also, as far as putting like foods together or not would depend on how much room you have on each shelf and how much product you have. Think about how a grocery store stocks their shelves. If you have a lot of fruit butter, I would put them all together on one shelf. If there’s enough room for all of them to be next to the jams and jellies, then it would make sense to put them together.
I’m new here and this is the first post I’ve watched! I am subscribed and am looking forward to your future posts!
Wow, such an accomplishment, shelves filled with nutritious organic food for you family, great job, Becky!!!
Anything that’s a complete grab and warm I put together, any condiment, any form and type of fruit, then all like items in the veggies category are placed together. I also put all legume/ beans together, as well as like meats and then broths. If that all makes sense.
My husband made me two large shelving units that are designed to hold the weight of the number of quarts they can hold (although I have pints and half pints on them too). When he saw I was storing my jars on the metal and pressed wood shelves like you have he told me to stop using them. He said show him what I want and he went straight away to building them for me. Im so glad he did because I didn’t realize how bowed those shelves were.
Anyway, all that to say, your pantry and efforts look amazing. Great time of year to get everything in its place and ready for winter.
Yaaay! I get to hang out with Becky today 🎉
LOVE having my homemade chicken and beef bone broth on my shelves now. We made Turkey bone broth this year from our Turkey!!! TY for always sharing and helping us grow our homemade products!!!
You're garden and outdoors looks gorgeous!
Right? SO fresh and clean. Great job, Becky!!
Job well done!! It has become my favorite youtube channel. U have such a positive and inspiring attitude. Ty for sharing
Love this video! Funny that I actually did the very same thing early this morning way before your video! I went through the same mental exercise 😂 but how lovely it must feel for you to see all your hard work on this amazing display!❤❤❤ it sure did for me 😊
I cleaned my storage pantry while watching you clean yours 😊 thanks for the motivation!
LOL! just as I was reaching maximum anxiety with Becky shoving jars to front and back, she brings up the BUNGIE CORDS!!!!! Everytime she moved jars front to back, I envisioned them flying off, hitting other jars and crashing!!!! Yeah! bungie cords!!! looking good Becky! What a great harvest and preserving year for you and your garden!!
Just a suggestion from from the daughter of a kitchen cabinet manufacturer ( bless my dad in heaven) you might have to think of getting some cross bracing to fit under the shelving inner wooden board as bowing will happen from the weight of the glass jars. I would be devastated to see all your hard work fall to the ground. My dad did that with my pantry cupboard shelves although he used thicker boards. I see a bit of leaning inwards of the outer rows of bottles and thats normally a good indicater of shelves bowing in
I would put tomato soup with readymade meals, Condiments together and apple butter with jams and jellies. Would label shelves with what is on each of the shelves. If you do meal planning for a week would suggest bringing up items from storage area into your pantry just off your kitchen.
Oh my goodness! Just look at allllllll those canning jars full of food on your floor!!!! That's FANTASTIC!!! What a fun thing it is to see the fruits of one's labor. What fun it is to work in our pantries and move things around and rearrange and organize. ❤❤❤ it!!!! 🙂🌻🍂
It’s awesome the things you have preserved the year and all the hard work work . I know because I use to do it
I’m halfway through this vid, you just finished the hot sauce shelf, and I keep saying Don’t FORGET the Zucchini Relish!! LOL. Can’t wait to see when you realize it’s up there. Thank you for always being so REAL!! Even about little things like how overwhelming organizing can be. 💞💞
This is amazing! Organizing and taking inventory is a huge task, good job!
Don’t forget to order oats for breakfast.. house hold management is always on going especially when you are a mom.. give yourself so grace hun.. you are doing a lot .. great job and I always enjoy you vlogs.. thanks
I had a bit of anxiety this whole video. I was just waiting for you to accidentally bump a box of jars off a shelf or something… so glad you didn’t! Was so relieved!
Tomato soup can go with any other soups if none then put with other tomato sauces.
Apple butter I would put with the jams.
I like to group things and how I use them so that is why I would put the apple butter with the jams because that’s some thing I would put on my toast .
Just like grouping all vinegar items together or spicy items.
I think you did a great job and I understand the frustration with organizing and thinking about finding items again. 😅🎉.
i would love to see an ariel shot of your homestead! That may sound weird but my logical brain just trying to see how everything fits together! i love your videos! We are so hot through the summer it’s already been about 100 or better!
I remember seeing someone posting all her empty jars. She filled them all with water, so in case of an emergency, she would have stored water on hand. I thought it was a great idea 😊
Rose Red Homestead has a great video about storing canning jars so that you only have to wash them once. I’m thinking about adopting her system as I think it would save time during canning season.
Tomato soup with the soups. Apple butter with the jams. When you are planning a meal or deciding what to put on your toast, this is how you will search your shelves.
Also, think about how grocery stores organize their products. They put tomato soup with the soups, not with the pasta sauces or with the canned tomatoes.
Just a suggestion about your regular mouth pints being open side up - lay a kitchen towel across the open ends to keep the dust down
