More early Queen would be "Liar", it highlights the talents of all the members of the band...
or "White Queen", a beautiful piano/guitar performance next to none...
or "March of the Black Queen" or "Ogre Battle", a continuation of "The Seven Seas of Rhye" theme of sci-fi/fantasy Freddie was known to write about as a child growing up... blessings.
Top Of The Pops was a very popular British musical televison show between the 60s and the early 2000s, but all performances were playback. If you listen to it attentively once again, you will notice, that Freddie was harmoninsing with himself.
Killer Queen was one song which was really out of the format that I usually write in, said Freddie in a 1974 interview. „Usually the music comes first, but the words came to me, and the sophisticated style that I wanted to put across in the song came first. No, I’d never really met a woman like that. A lot of my songs are fantasy.” I wrote it in one night. „I scribbled down the words in the dark one Saturday night and the next morning I got them all together and I worked all day Sunday and that was it.”

Fun fact about this Killer Queen performance on Top of the Pops: It's lip synced. When they were invited to appear they jumped at the chance without asking many questions. That was the show to be on in Britain at the time, much like American Bandstand here in the States. When they got there and were told that they had to lip sync they were p.i.s.s.e.d. and swore they would never do it again. If you watch closely you'll see little things that point to lip syncing, and I wouldn't doubt for a second that they were deliberate.
RisbyDaCreator, I love your Queen reactions so far, but this reaction truly threw me off! Perhaps, for you, it would be best to listen/watch Queen chronologically--just to appreciate Queen's progression within the time-period they performed through. I have loved your reactions so far, but 'cluelessness" showed this time, not only in your facial reactions, but in your reduction to remarking simply on Queen's costumes.
