Good question. If she was a nobody and hit the ball poorly, then yes. If the real Nelly Korda turned up for a lesson I’d probably just stand behind her telling her wow great shot every swing😂
Shallowing is an overused buzzword. It is a natural movement that happens as you lower and transition down and around into the ball, not something to be fixated on. The same applies to early extension; when extended correctly, it is a natural full extension of the body as you contact the ball ( as Nely does), not prematurely out of the sink with the natural flow. Again, early extensions, like swallowing, are buzz words that usually interrupt the flow of the movement rather than letting them happen naturally with the flow; that is why Nelly and Couples swings are so beautiful because the flow is not static. As Couples says, I have no concern as to what happens on my backswing I just let it flow natural to the ball and release it with all I have, going through to the target while my hips move away. The analyst would learn from Nelly's swing, not vice versa.
New player here. 3:23. How does she get her shoulder plane that steep? I looked at my own swing on video, and my shoulder angle is more like 3:35
Feeling Lead shoulder down to trail knee
So would you work with her to shallow the early downswing so she doesn’t have to lose that bit of posture and all that to get her draw ?

@@jrbackhousegolf that’s all Butch does most of the time. So we know it works.

You play BETTER. I have to accept that and MOVE ON. I will work on my swing, but Nelly is best!

Never seen an amateur golfer do low and slow well😂
