Kizumonogatari is the Monogatari anime at its peak. The cinematic feel they put into these films sets them apart from the rest of the series. The moments of monologues give way to moments of silence, appreciation of symbolisms and direction. Absolutely beautiful
Kizumonogatari just has the perfect blend of soundtrack and visuals (story as well) it just all works so well. I can't lie watching this makes me just want to watch it again lol. I think Kizu is the perfect anime film trilogy imo it just does everything so well

Seriously underrated content. Those videos are perfect for showing how wonderful monogatari art is, instead of letting some quick googling say that it is about "pedo", "lolis" and such. I love monogatari series and I thank you from the deep of my heart for those videos, my friend.
I think the art and music direction is second to none in anime. It's genuinely my favourite out of anything I've ever watched. Which is why it makes me so annoyed that it's wasted on a weird pedophile anime.

On another note if you want something very "shaft" (the studio) in its direction without some seasons/arcs/gags/satire abording sexuality in this way I recommend you Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. Unarguably the best looking anime movies of the last decade. Shinkai's movies are mostly appealing background art and that's it, Silent Voice is extremely clean but lacks visual flair, Hosoda's movies look good but their use of CGI is extremely jarring compared to Shaft, Ufotable's Fate movies have great animation but almost no directing whatsoever. This is 2010s Redline, Ghost in the Shell or Angel's Egg.
