@@seanhenry4601 that’s what I like to hear 👍🏻 #Miami is indeed a great place to visit and to live in. Glad to know your coming back in October, maybe you’ll have time to check out the spots I’ll be showing you in this Sunday’s video. 😊
Hi @TheSweetLifeofBree, thank you so much for watching. Yes, of course, the prices have changed a lot since this video was made. This video was published a little over a year ago.
i love your videos and this one was very helpful to me. I didn't think that any of your picks seemed expensive compared to some of the prices that I saw when I researched hotels for my upcoming trip! So many of the South Beach hotels that I saw were 400...500...600 dollars a night....and saw several that were over 1K per night...and one that was a whopping 20K per night!! I thought, who are these people who can afford over 500 dollars per night for a room! Thank you for your great videos! .
Hi @Julie Hall! First and foremost, thank you for watching my videos and taking the time to comment. I’m glad to know that this video in particular was helpful to you, and that you’re traveling to Miami soon👌🏻 On the other hand, it is important to note that this video was done back in November. At the time many of hotels were struggling because there were no tourists, so they started targeting locals for “home away from home” getaways. Today, the tourism industry is still recovering...but with the winter season at its peak, Miami has seen an increase in tourists...making hotel prices to come back up. Don’t be surprised if the hotels I mentioned in this video have increased their prices as well. Miami is an amazing city with lots of things to offer, so I truly hope you have an awesome time in city! 🙂👍🏻
@@ximealna6288 that’s insane! From my recent travel experiences in Mexico, Aruba and Colombia...I would highly advice to look for at Airbnb stays as well as hotels. Sometimes is way cheaper to stay at a “luxurious” Airbnb than an average hotel room.

Hi There!!! What neighborhood would you think is the best to stay in if the tourist is planning on not renting a car, and instead of using Uber or public transportation?. Thank you so much for your video!
Hi @XIMENA ALMANZA thank you so much for watching and the support. Glad to know you enjoyed the video. This is a tough question...but I would suggest any of these three areas: Miami Beach, downtown Miami, or Brickell. You could also stay in an Airbnb around the Coconut Grove area, it’s a bit farther out...but lodging options might be cheaper than the other three areas. But keep in mind transportation could be a bit more expensive. It’s more of a “give and take” type of game.
Hi @jay c thank you for watching. I haven’t stayed at the Pullman hotel, or done any recent research on it, so I can’t really tell you if it’s good or bad.
Hi! Thank you for watching. All the information I provide in the video is all the information I was able to find at that time for each hotel/resort. So as far as “additional or hidden resort fees” I didn’t find any, so that’s the reason for not mentioning them. However, if you know of any...I think it would be very helpful if you shared them with us. 👍🏻
@travelmanMN my apologies for the delay in my response. I’m not sure if there’s a website like that. I do know that there are hotels that offer that option regardless of what site you use to book the room. I think your best bet would be to ask the hotels directly or look at the T&C of the hotel on sites like Expedia or booking or the hotel’s website prior to booking the room.
Hi! Thanks for the support and watching the video. Yes, public transportation in Miami is not good at all. When you come to Miami, chances are you’ll need to rent a car or get around in Uber or Lyft. $40 for parking is very steep, I agree, but an Uber or Lyft ride could easily cost you $20-$30. Also, Miami is a very expensive city, and places like Miami Beach are even more expensive. So you also have to take that into consideration, you’re visiting or living in an expensive city.
Hi @Farm Girl thank you for watching. I can’t really give you an acueste answer on this. As you probably know, the coat of renting a car depends on many factors. Last time I rent a car in Miami was about 4 years ago, and it cost me about $450 for 10 days during Christmas/holiday season.
Hi @mrparts thank you for watching! Downtown Miami is not dead after office hours at all. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and nearby shopping malls that you can enjoy beyond the 9-5 schedule. 👍🏻
@DavidGuevara thank you for watching! I think some people do. Hotels' breakfasts aren't for everybody, but it's important to know that you have that option when book a stay at any hotel.
I stay at Hostels in Miami Beach. And I stay in Coed rooms. I don't care for All Male Rooms. I'm in Miami Beach to meet beautiful women. No guys on my radar.
Hi Stephen! Thank you so much for watching. Unfortunately, I wasn’t allowed to film in front of the Epic building at that time. Trust me, I had the same look when I was told to stop filming because it was a private property and I didn’t have permission from management. But from my personal experience, I can tell you that this hotel is amazing! the customer service is great, all the rooms I have stayed in have had an amazing view (city & ocean). I've had the opportunity to stay here 3 times, and the average night rate is between $250-300. My personal tip: tell them you’re celebrating something special like a birthday or anniversary when booking your stay. They will surprise you with an amenity or maybe a small room upgrade.
@@MiloEstevez hey man thanks for the reply and heads up I appreciate that. I’ve always wanted to visit Miami and this will be my first trip in May, I’ve been trying to decide between the Epic or the intercontinental hotels. I’m leaning towards the Epic I really like the balcony as a feature.
@Stephen Foxx Wow! I’m glad you’re finally visiting Miami. This is a great place with many things to offer. May is a great month to come as the heat is not as bad as it is during July or August. Also the chances of rain or heavy storms are less than in the following months (June, July, August, etc.). Where are you traveling from? As far as the hotels you’re looking into, I am a bit biased lol the Epic Hotel is my go to place for a luxurious and romantic getaway. But they are both great hotels with its pros and cons. If you’re thinking about renting a car, do not rent it at the airport, beach or downtown areas. For some reason car rentals are more expensive in these areas. My advice would be to rent the car around the Doral area...it’s near the airport, so Uber won’t cost you an arm and a leg, and it’s a bit more local. Hope this info along with my other Miami vids help!
@@MiloEstevez oh yea I did my homework and prior Florida visits I’ve been to Orlando a few times I don’t mind the heat of June or July but trying to stay away from the rain as much as possible so May it is. I go to miami all the time. You can find IHOP or Dennys or McDonald's for a breakfast under 10.00. AS for parking at a hotel its cheaper to take a lot of uber because you will pay for parking everywhere still. Uber is real cheap and they have bike rentals everywhere. Third your English is very bad. You are saying buffet and valet. The letter T is silent. Its pronounced bufay and valay. So thier you go. This is how to enjoy Miami for those who make less then 23.00 an hour. Choose Uber over rental cars. ( YOU PROBABLY WONT SPEND MORE THEN 120.00 ON UBER IN 4 DAYS) you will spend 200.00 in four days on hotel parking and street parking trust me. Not to mention gas and rental car price and deposit and insurance. 600.00 total vs 120.00 total in uber including air port trips. And breakfast doesn't need to be 100.00 a day for a family of 3. Grandslam and juice is about 8.00 and French toast Slugger is 8.00. IHOP has the best omelets and for about 10.00 and Mc Donalds with Uber Eats can feed 3 people good for breakfast for 20.00. Last I would say never in Miami get a room more than 120.00 a night. I found so many hotels for about 100.00 that were 3 and 4 star hotels that still have the same balcony views as the hotels that charge 300.00.
