Excellent video, concise and informative. Using makeup/fingernail brushes for detail work was a real revelation for me.
Thanks Robert! Glad you enjoyed it!
I like Black Taklon
i love your videos. thank you!
Excellent video! First time I’ve heard the brushes explained. Now I know why your work is outstanding, having been a painter before pottery👏👏
Thanks so much! I was hoping it would help explain a bit why there are so many different types of brushes. Thanks for posting.
You are a really good teacher.

This was great. I appreciate the explanation of the differences. Never knew some of these distinctions before. I’ve just experimenting with what I have. Thanks so much.
You are welcome Anne. Thanks for watching. I do think the importance of brushes are underestimated, right.
Great video. I bought a pack of fingernail brushes and could not understand what to use the really long narrow brush for. Then I needed to make a thin straight border completely around a cup. Perfect for the task.
Great they worked out for you David...thanks for watching!
Nice info, thank you!
My pleasure! Thanks so much for watching. :-)
Thank you!!!
Thanks for watching Marcela!
My favorite underglaze detail brush is by Duncanceramics.com. They have lasted such a long time. Thank you for another great video!
Thanks for the tip Sue and thanks for watching!
One question which i really wonder about. How do you clean and keep them. Because sometimes they lose their shapes if i forget to clean them.
Umm. like you I forget as well...the nylon brushes I use are pretty durable however and can keep the shape for quite a while. My more expensive brushes I just have to remember to keep them clean after every use.
@@LittleStreetPottery thank you very much!🍀
