I love the first 6 challenges! Another type I have done is that I can only add a pokemon to my team after each gym win. And the pokemon I can add is the first encounter in a new area after the gym (I do it with a randomizer and new area so you can't plan your pokemon). It's a little easier midgame and lategame since you can get 9 total pokemon which means you can replace a pokemon starting with after the 6th gym win. Both of these types of runs I tend to prefer over nuzlocks since I'm not a big fan of having to grind up pokemon after one dies

Great Video! It seems you have an older version of the hack as all the battles are singles, would it be possible to still find this? All I've been able to find so far is the latest version with the mixed battle gyms which is quite off-putting to me!

Pretty good content, nice job. I just wanted to say that you can get to the dreamyard before you have to fight the first gym leader. The fight with Cheren in the trianer school gives you cut instead of oran berries like in the base game.
Edit- You can use cut out of battle without the badge
