James and Necie, Thank you for all that you do in sharing your lives with us. You never ask anything from us, so hopefully this makes my gift a pleasant surprise. In this holiday season, I wanted to pay it forward to someone who does so much for his community. Use this gift in any manner you see fit! You can buy a meal for your Saturday get together, gifts for your social group, or to even defray the costs of all the work you are doing on your house. It's my way of saying thank you for all that you do! Happy Holidays - Btw, this gift has nothing to do with my upcoming trip to the Manila area from 2/14 - 3/1 as I wanted to do something before the holidays forthe both of you. Hopefully, I'll be able to meet you folks during my stay!
Thank you so much for the Super Thanks donation and very kind comments. Ness and I are so glad that we've been able to provide content over the years that hopefully brings smiles and joy to like minded folks like you. Looking forward to meeting up with you and your family in Feb '25. God bless and happy holidays! 🙏🏼🎅🏼🎄
Hi James... I have an e-cycle that gets me around the neighborhood ... I have tricked it out to look like a regular motorcycle, but top speed is 55 kph! 😜 But, it really is helpful as a 68 year old dude, and I'm sending it to The Philippines! As we get older, it's time to adjust from Audi, Porsche, Harley, etc. If it works for you and your needs, it's perfect! Your new transport looks super! Cool stuff! Enjoy your holidays! Here I have family and friends stopping by for festivities... While shipping Balikbayan boxes for our base camp in Tarlac... Anyway... Cheers! 👍😎👍
The yard looks so different than it did on the first day of the build. You were anticipating the joy of a home. I can see it now the Home, ladders, water hose, that pursuit of happiness. Just a job well done.
Hello 👋 & Merry Christmas to All our Valued Allies of the Philippines 🇵🇭 & A Happy New Year 🎉🎅 🎄 Warmest Wishes From your Friends of Florida the Sunshine ☀ State 😎
The Lowes near my house has something very similar. Actually they have 2 of them, sitting out front. $10k! I can buy a halfway decent car for that amount.
Yes, I have a screen capture of the Coleman golf cart Lowe's is selling USD$9,999.00 plus applicable taxes. I'll be doing a follow up on my total costs in an upcoming episode.
I've heard that those lithium battery catch fire so try not to store the vehicle inside your garage. It's nice that the voltage in the Philippines is 220v not like here in the U.S. 110v. Does it need to be registered to be road worthy? It is so quiet though.
Older lithium batteries have that issue but the newer lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries have resolved the issues with overheating, catching fire or battery memory problems. This battery in this golf cart is LiFePO4. I'm not sure the rules from country to country regarding these type of vehicles on public roads but I notice here in the Philippines EV or E-bikes are commonly driven on public roads without registration. I expect that will change over the years as these type vehicles become more available.
Happy Holidays! Did I miss something? I was waiting for total cost including shipping. Also, how long does a fully charged battery last and how was the power (similar to a standard golf cart in North America?)
James, congratulations and also happy holidays to you and the family. Very nice golf cart! Can you drive a golf cart (licenses plate? Registration?) outside the subdivision? Will it last being parked in Lipa city when you run errands? Our friends from the USA are building in your subdivision. We will visit in February to possibly buy a property there too.
I'm not sure that there is policy set yet for these types of EVehicles but you can see they are becoming more prevalent on the public roads as they're becoming more popular. I suspect at some time the government will be issuing policy and regulatory restrictions to both insure safety and collect tax revenue. For me I do not intend on using this outside the subdivision or local golf courses. Hopefully see you in Feb. Happy Holidays! 🙏🏼🎅🏼🎄

That will be my follow up video on the vehicle. I wanted to get the assembly video out first.
Maayong Buntag
Magandang umaga.
Be careful your trumpet plant is highly poisonous.
