Very cheap tyres you got,,,₹5000/piece,,,,, ₹10000 for both tyres online,,,,,, you got roadside branding tyres,,,,, Take some branded tyres,,,,,like MRF,,,,, BRIDGESTONE,,,,Etc.
Marc I'm a mechanic, it's not wheel bearings unless u can hear a whine or high pitched scream coming from them, I'd say the tyres need balancing. You really need to get semi off rd tyres, u are going to have more trouble again with those slicks. U want to travel China, well get serious with ur bike and ur life.
Yep, he's right. Once you've removed the wheels, you can stick a finger in the bearing inner ring and turn it to feel whether it runs smoothly or whether there are grooves in it. You can tell. But as long as you're not constantly driving through fords where the wheel bearings are flooded, there shouldn't be anything there.
Tires heat up while driving, which makes the pressure go up. If you adjust air pressure on hot tires, you should set it 0.3-0.5 bar higher than cold (factory specification is always for cold tires)
He used to post videos almost everyday. I imagine that took it's toll on him. He's filming, travelling and editing everything himself. Also for safeties sake, he wouldn't want people really having any chance of tracking his routes so that they can anticipate where he's going.
Yeah !!!the old honda back would be a great idea .....keep on keeping on 500 km a day nice drive...you doing the distances ...so nice to follow true y videos...where dilighted the travels will go on around the planet😊
I think EV is your content and life too and because of you at least I encourage towards ev for sure so, I think you always go with EV new old what even you what but always keep going. And at the end love you and all the best for your future trips ❤
Please be careful because you sometime very uncarefully drived, i observed you in this ride, specially the mountain area, becareful brother life is beautiful ❤️
I joined your channel years ago, because of the Dominator (my son and I have two of them ourselves) and after you went electric I stayed here because of many other reasons. I understand both reasons why you either stay with electric or switch back to petrol. I’m not going to give you any advice, since you will know best what is best for you. I will keep following your channel, no matter what your decision will be anyway!
I'm here because you're driving an EV(e)! As the driver of an EV (car) and someone who loves doing road trips, I love the mixture of adventure and doing that adventure on an electric bike, facing the challenges of getting to where you want while sorting out the limited EV infrastructure. So please stick with an electric machine!
Mark, you are such a humble ambassador for electric motorcycles, I don't think you realise what your travels have done to inspire future EV riders, me included, I bought a Zero purely on what I saw and learned through your travels. Please carry on to wherever you end up on an electric motorcycle 😊
Hey Marc, I've already seen balancing mentioned in the comments and I'm not sure others have mentioned this: When you installed the tires, there is a yellow dot on the sidewalls. That mark indicates the lighter side of the tire and should be aligned with the valve (valve adds some weight to that side of the wheel). I noticed when the tires were installed, the yellow mark was not aligned with the valve. I thought to comment about this, but didn't think it was a big deal. I ride a dual sport single cylinder, so everything is vibrating anyways and have installed tires with the mark out of alignment and noticed no difference. But with your street tires, you probably notice a lot more. That being said, even with the yellow mark aligned, you may still need to balance them.
I hear the nostalgia for your old Honda but this magnificent adventure that you have shared for almost 2 years would not have the same appeal without the challenge of doing it with Eve. Easy to say from our European comfort but please don't fall for the past 🙏
I followed you just few months back so i am not 1 to give an advice but it would be good to go with your gut feeling and think which motorcycle or ride suits you after all in the end your the one whos gonna ride and show us the world
Hi Mark, Thanks for another great video. I am happy to see you again on the way. BTW, Did you forget about the problems with the classic ice motorbikes? I guess that would conclude the first EV trip around the world. That would be a shame after all these adventures. :) Keep going mate.
I have been following you for last few months and i think eve was the one who brought you to this day so keep travelling with her as far as she can go and then maybe revisit the honda
That motorcycle company should pay few million dollars to Marc honestly. But as good as that electric motorcycle is, it is not the good one to do road trips and adventure rides with. And it doesn't look too comfortable either.
Of course Marc, in the rain, with limited visibility, a little visor Rainex doesn't hurt. It is dangerous in the rain but I think you know, it's your experience and your ingredient "X" (Third Eye) that sees you through.
I grew up in India, never had the means to do what you did. Then I spent 35 years in uk Spain where I did get to do first the bike then van life .... But on my last journey in life I returned to s. India. Your bike journey from south to north has been wonderful to see india through your journey. So, thank you very much. Good luck. All the best. Btw check out the electric bikes in china. They are cutting edge.
I would suggest reviving the old Honda or, if it's more economical, buying a used bike when you get to the States. When you're finished exploring the American continent, you could hold a sweepstakes to give the bike away. The proceeds from the sweepstakes could cover the cost of a flight back to Germany.
I am sure it is an imbalance in one of the tires. Vibration, altered handling, and louder driving noises are the typical signs. I'm sure this will be fixed after balancing the tires.
Man in the last video there were lots of jim jim. Missing marie's "jimjim"😪. It would be so nice if Marie was also be there with her JIMJIM. Any ways " Just Sit and smell the roses", This what comes to my mind.😍
Whatever you decide on Mark is entirely up to you, l’ve been a sub since you started on the Honda, you were in a field showing all the equipment you would be taking, right up to the ticking sound, then you turned up with Eve, l myself have always been a Honda man l have an ST1100 pan and Blackbird. (you really need a Honda Blackbird in your life Mark) The only thing to remember is that it will more expensive with the Dominator fuel wise.
Why didn't you coil the charging cable back up after charging at that hotel ? It was all coiled up neatly when you arrived. You wouldn't be happy if you arrived at a much needed charger and the lead was damaged....☹️
Whatever you're doing, please keep making the video's. You make such nice content, the make or type of motorcycle doesn't make a difference to me. Keep enjoying the travel, will be watching you. Tnxs m8
Love the dominator dude, its a personality, but since your brand is about how you're travelling on an electric motorbike I'm not sure how that'll affect your channel. I'd still watch you because there's no one who actually makes videos like you do, all the shots, the interactions, the people, the struggles. Anyways Dominator will always be my favorite, but you'll have to make the decision wisely
Here's a thought: have your mom or a friend ship the Honda to the US, close to the Zero factory. Then drive Eve to the factory and continue your trip on the Dominator. Then you can decide if you leave Eve at the factory (as a statement) or ship her to your mom.
Ah, will Eve not make it to the USA, I thought you could visit Zero and bring the bike back to them, they might even want to buy the Bike after it made it around the world... Any way here's wishing you a happy Christmas and a fabulous New Year. Keep on riding and smiling and thanks for the great video's.... Looking forward to seeing your China ride . 🎅🎅☃️⛄
Lets bring the old Honda back! :D Im not watching you because of EVE. I have started watching your videos on that Honda and it was cool, but mainly im not watching your videos because of bikes you ride but because of traveling and your adventures. Yeah it was fun to see you struggling sometimes with charging EVE :D , but its not a main reason for me why im watching your videos (almost from your beginning). Whatever you decide, I'll continue to follow you, but honestly I'd like to see the old Honda back. :)

First of all, get the tires balanced. That's most likely the issue with the vibration. The fact that you're feeling the vibes at specific speeds (most likely multiples of the same lowest speed) indicates a constant factor. I've experienced this before. Easy fix. Bearings would be audible. Second: When you (hopefully) come to the U.S., bring whatever is working best for you. I'd suggest EVE, simply so you could stop at her birthplace to see their reaction, but the Honda is your old tried and true. I know how that feels. Either way, if you find yourself in need while you're here, I have a 1994 Honda you could borrow 😊 Ride safe. Ride smart. Have fun!
