I have video of getting the music box with purples and I can confirm it is possible to get with any type of pikmin using the strategy I used.

I managed to get red Pikmin to the castaway that was I The industrial maze when I was jumping around the gate with otchai and I threw a Pikmin. It takes a bit of time and precision but after a while you can get it.

Truly incredible. I never imagined someone would be able to be Pikmin 4 while completing the impossible challenge of finding an actual use for the pebble pitcher

I have personally tried this challenge and have been able to obtain the castaway in the industrial maze by throwing pikmin on the ledge by mashing the throw button while aiming at the platform, the blonde impostor is also obtainable using this method. For the 2 treasures in the mud pit stuck inside deep mud from a higher ledge by the exit you are able to rush with oatchi to very slowly push them to shore.

A way I found to get reds up ledges (not all but some), was using the pebble pitcher til i earned nectar, then carefully dropping that on the edge of the ledge, then throwing leaf red pikmin into it. They sort of magnetised/autocorrected into it, and after drinking, would attach to the item i wanted.

Couldn't you skip most of the dandori challenges and battles with Dingo? The only one you cant skip is hideaway battle iirc. Great video btw!
